Update
07:00PM CEST - Someone very smart pointed out something very disturbing. Worgens already had Darkflight, a temporary speed spell applying a Mod Speed to the character. So, why did Blizzard add that spell in this build?


  • Running Wild - Drop to all fours to run as fast as a wild animal.

This spell doesn't apply a mod speed, and applies a "Mounted" aura to the player. It's a racial, and it's apparently a Level 20 spell. It also has a 1.5 sec cast time, like all the mounts spells. I don't want to say it yet, but that would explain why we never saw a model for the Worgen Mount.

  • Atonement now heals for 40/80/120% of the damage dealt. (Up from 15/30/45%)
  • Archangel (Evangelism) Lasts for 18 sec and has a 15 sec cooldown. (Tooltip clarification)
  • Archangel (Dark Evangelism) now restores 5% of your total mana (Up from 3%) and increases damage done by your your Mind Flay, Mind Spike, Mind Blast and Shadow Word: Death 4% (Old - all shadow and frost damage by 3%). Lasts for 18 sec. 90 sec cooldown.
  • Inner Sanctum now reduces spell damage taken by 2/4/6%, down from 5/10/15%.

Holy
  • Leap of Faith now costs 13% of base mana, down from 32%. Now has a 40 yards range, up from 30 yards.
  • Holy Nova now affects friendly targets (Old - all party and raid members). Base healing increased by 33% but the healing is now divided among the number of targets healed.
  • Heal base healing value reduced by 25%.
  • Holy Focus (Passive) *New* - Reduces the pushback suffered from damaging attacks while casting any Holy or Discipline spell by 70%.
  • Revelations (Holy Word: Aspire (Renew)) base healing value reduced by 5%.
  • Blessed Resilience revamped - Whenever you are victim of an attack equal to damage greater than 10% of your total health, you gain Blessed Resilience increasing all healing received by 5/10% lasting for 10 sec.
  • Twirling Light is now a Rank 3 talent, down from Rank 4 and is now named Surge of Light and revamped - You have a 3/6% chance when you Smite or Heal to cause your next Flash Heal to be instant cast and cost no mana but incapable of a critical hit.
  • Lightwell now restores {((2878.1+(SpellPower*.308))*3)*1.25} health over 6 sec.
  • Improved Healing is gone.
  • Trinity (Tier 2) *New* - When you Smite three times in a row, your spell haste will be increased by 5/10% for 12 sec.

  • Death's Embrace now heals you for an additional 1% of your health while at or below 25% health. (Old - Increased the amount drained by 10/20/30%)
  • Siphon Life now has a chance to heal for 2% of your total health, up from 1%.

Demonology
  • Mana Feed now causes you to instantly gain 2/4% total mana. (Up from 1%) Your summoned demon now gains 30/60% of the mana from Drain Mana and Life Tap, down from 60/120%.

Destruction
  • Soul Fire now has a 4 sec cast time, down from 6 sec.
  • Conflagrate now deals fire damage equal to 100% of your Immolate's periodic damage on the target. Range changed to 40 yards, up from 30 yards.
  • Empowered Imp no longer increases the damage done by your Imp by 10/20%.
  • Nether Protection now lasts 12 sec, up from 8 sec.

    I like the Running Wild idea.

    I don't see a problem with the Worgen not having a racial mount. It's not really necessary for them, as the Worgen mobs can run and sprint over long distances, so why can't the players? And when I think of a Worgen riding something else.... it just doesn't seem right.
    I'm sure we've all seen images or videos of the quest in the Worgen starting zone where you ride a horse, and I'm pretty sure we can all agree it looked ridiculous. It's also true that considering the Worgen were originally Human, their racial mount would be another Horse., not a Boar. Even if it was a Boar, it would look even more ridiculous.
    I'm not obsessive compulsive so I'm not driven to collect every single mount and achievement out there like some no-life basement-dwelling neckbeard.

    I fail to understand the whining and bawling of a lot of the commenters here.

    As for returning Plainsrunning to the Tauren, sure, seems like a fair idea. Although I think the animation would need to be updated. Hey how about tweaking that underwater running animation they recently implemented? I think that could work for the Tauren, taking huge long strides and moving at mount speed over the plains of Mulgore

    Feh. They could just do like they've done previously and add 2 (or however many the Goblins actually get, if they decide to do multi-colored mounts) more mounts to a different race for Alliance. As for the "PVP imbalance" - There's tons of mods that show you how fast your target is moving, not just that, but why is it necessary anyways to "know if they are mounted or not"? They still wouldn't be able to carry flags, or be "mounted" indoors, so... I don't see the logic behind that complaint.

    WRONG... target them and see if they have this aura up or not... not hard to figure out. also if this is like the npc animation they will actually be on all fours when this aura is on not standing up like normal.

    Titans grip no longer reduces damage by 10% and dual-wield specialization now increases damage by 10% when dual wielding... I REALLY hope they know what they are doing and are balancing weapons around these changes.. I know they say players will have a lot more health than they have in the past, but we have all seen what geared fury warriors can do.

    Not exactly sure why a few people were so happy about Perception being removed. In my experience, it became completely useless after they made it a passive since it barely helped.

    What's with the Holy Paladin nerfs? Is Holy Light really so OP in the beta?

    No. That +hit talent is so a Holy Paladin's judgement won't miss every time he tries to use it to get Judgements of the Pure to proc. It's already in the live builds, and the only reason that it wasn't in the beta beforehand was because they said they'd make a passive but I guess they decided against that and made it a talent again.

    Lastly, I hope that Running Wild stays. Quite frankly, they could fix the mount imbalance by just adding in more to other races. I want this for Worgen. I really do.

    Edit: Races, not classes. I'm a moron.

    This Alliance QQ just reinforces that the Alliance doesn't deserve FREAK'n Werewolves!

    The Horde wouldn't care, hell they would have a 40+ City raid with all of the Worgan in human form in suits and top hats riding lvl 40 mounts up to the city gates. Then they all dismount and crouch then transform go in Running Wild form and basically reenact the castles assault in Underworld 3.

    But Blizz will cave and give the fools a horse or an actually ancient Dire Wolf (ancestors of modern whales) which is basically a Wolf with saber fangs and hooves.

    Oh and is it just me or do we see more and more panic builds for Ret Pallies?

    Every new build the switch things around again, like they don't know if they wanna nerf or buff.

    It probably wont I assume its a placeholder mount for the time being at least till the art for the real one is done

    Back in Alpha or around the release of Beta tauren had a spell called Plains runner. Due to massive QQ from the horde Blizzard caved and gave Tauren Kodo, thus removing Plains runner. Running wild is no different, so stop trolling because you are pissed alliance got the awesome race. If you want to play one so bad, roll one. If not, big deal.

    I know what the ability was and why it was pulled.

    Vanilla had real problems in the beginning and the real old timers accept this. The lvl 60 40 man raids to hop in Wagon in the Barrens is proof of this.

    It just seems like an awesome concept and it seems like the kiddies cry not because its a cool ability but because they don't want the meanie Horde may possible get more mounts than the do, which others have pointed out they still won't since the Alliance still will have 2 more mounts.

    *SHOCK*

    And finally don't be haten' mon on da trolls.

    Like the clas changes, finally they sarted number tuning, and the classes seem to be getting equally powerful.

    I don't know about that.

    Cause all the Horde new old world questing vids seem to show the Horde winning and the Alliance dieing hard in the contested zones.

    The only thing the Alliance seem to have is the foothold in the Barrens that the Horde can't seem to take from them.

    If people could link me vids other wise I would appreciate it.

    Oh yea, because seeing a Worgen running that fast (Even on all fours...) is suddenly not ridiculous? The thought of them being as fast as an Ostrich, Tiger, Lion, Kodo, Raven Lord, Raptor etc. is ridiculous. If they can move that fast then why not do it during boss fights? Why not just run around on all fours in BGs and destroy everybody because they can't catch you unless they mount? Its a terrible idea, they need a mount like everybody else. Also, ima get a gnome exalted with Gilneas and buy this just so you can see how ridiculous it is.
