Tier 11 Models Preview - Druid, Rogue, Warlock
After posting the Tier 11 Stats a few days ago I realized that I didn't do any proper preview of the existing Tier 11 models, time to fix that! This preview isn't official, stuff might be slightly wrong (Gloves and Boots might have a slightly different model, I can't really check that) but it should give you a good idea of what to expect on live servers.

  • I also included the Warrior's helm, the rest of the set is still missing.
  • Sets for other classes aren't available yet.
  • One of the recolor of the Rogue set is bugged on males.
  • I included both Pants and Robe version of the Druid set, you should just assume that the actual set will use the robe model. (They always add pants models just in case)

Druid

Rogue

Warlock

Bonus - Warrior Helm

Way to show your absolute ignorance or the engine they are using. This will run fine on mid range computers, sure it will run better on high end computers. Still even with graphics turned down to medium the game is far more detailed, and beautiful, than wow is on high. (speaking of part 1, you know the game wow has stolen so much from). Oh, and it manages to be that pretty without using as many resources. This might be because everything isn't glowing, or flaming, etc. I think it might also be because anything you can't see isn't rendered. So if something is behind a building or a rock, it isn't rendered until you actually see it.

My point is though, they COULD design beautiful armor/models. They just don't. Now this is either:
    1. They have run out of ideas. Designing multiple sets of armor per tier is just a crazy amount of armor
    2. They are lazy
    3. I guess three, they tried their best but they just have no clue what even looks interesting anymore

But ofcourse if YOU like more practical looking stuff and that kind of visuality, it's your opinion and it's alright. I just want to mention that ain't Blizzard's design style.

And you need to admid that hell that's better looking than rogue T10. >_>

Cant argue with that, but IMO: EMO-rogue T8 > all ^-^

But why do always the plate wearers get the bikinis? WTB Bikini-Priests (female only :X)!

The rogue and warlock helmets are already among the most awful looking ones in the whole game, can't wait to see all the other sets, lol... -The warrior helmet looks pretty awful as well, good job!

HOW BLIZZARD?! HOW!? A ROGUE WITH BLUE FIRE AROUND EVERYTHING! FOR CHRIST SAKE .. WE ARE ASSASSINS, NOT A FUCKING BLUE FLAME TURBAN WEARER WITH NEONS.
but srsly .. in Vanilla and TBC we looked like assassins, and in wotlk its was OK, but this shit?
Ok, so they will nerf us, but also destroy our gear ? LOLOLOLOL
I Hope so badly they don't fuck up the PvP set as they have done with the pve gear

Don't make the new rogue set Tunak Tunak Tun. (DULKDULKDULKDULKDDADADA)

ummmmmmm..... why do rogues looks like they shoved about 10 or 12 glow sticks in each shoulder? is this supposed to make them stand out so they get more heals? I guess the Sam Ficher effect really does exist :P

i'm going to reserve judgement on the warrior teir, can't form an opinion on the helm alone and the rest of the armor can go either way. but it looks promising

also... why do druids get no love at all in the teir department... altho i must say that this is definitely better then teir 5... god i miss making fun of our druid tank for having flower gardens on his shoulders

    Dissapointed with the warlock set
The blue druid set looks more like a priest set.
    Rogues looks awesome though.

yeah umm is my vision going at the ripe young age of 23 or are these crap?

the rogue is the only set here with potential to impress- yet that is stripped away by a toddlers color scheme- the glow clashes hard with the gear color...

druids have a VERY sad unlikeable distant cousin to priest T5 which was a BEAUTIFUL gearset

warlocks have gotten some seriously legit sets in the past.. now it looks like they need moms help putting on their helmets in the morning.. guess this is what blizz calls balance?

my 5 year old cousin has the color wheel down pat- pretty creative kid should interview her for the design team if were shooting for more gear like this

Rogue needs a big time redo. I'm not EVEN a rogue (well, not a real one, wait...) Yeah, the glowing neon turban look is just bad. I don't recall exactly which tier, maybe T2, but it was red/black with shadowy wisps. Now THAT was the a bad-ass look for the rogues.

The very last one displayed for Druid's (the 8th one in the photos on the female, not the vid) is hottest imo. The coloring that is, wings and all. Though displayed as pants-only I know that the color combo will be great whether on robes or pants. The deeper blue of the wings is especially nice compared to the lighter blue.

(Druid sets by their theme: T1, T5, T10 are rather treeish, thought T1 is overall druidish becouse of antlers and leather details and such. I could perhaps add T8 to this too becouse it's pretty earthy and nature balance themed, I would say. T2, T4 are pretty overall druidish sets with all antlers and so on (T4 closer to Druid of the Antler theme and T2 closer to Feral druid theme). T3/T7 pretty much emerald dream themed and by my opinion inspired by Emerald Dragonflight and meant to honor them (and clearly the coolest druid gear ever). And as I earlier mentioned Dungeon 1, T6, T9 and T11 are bird themed. So we're really lacking only pure Druid of the Claw set with all bear (or other beast) hides and claws and such. Waiting for that.)
I agree with the Druid of the Claw sets for feral druids! That would be nice. Also, I think of the 3 druid specs feral should most definitely have PANTS for a change lol there's absolutely nothing wild or feral about those long caster-looking skirts. I'm resto so I'm fine with our new look (especially the darker blue one) but if I were feral I would prefer one of the brown looks in pants.

I definitely agree. Ashenvale and Un'Goro are gorgeous, especially if you're one of the rare Night Elves like myself who spent more time leveling in Eastern Kingdoms than Kalimdor (because EK is where my friends were) until about lvl 50. Over the years we agree that while EK seems faster for leveling, Kalimdor (with the exceptions of places like say, Silithus) is a lot more fun to look at. It was literally a breath of fresh air going from Darkshire to STV. After reading about each race/class/spec when I first started playing, I chose the Night Elf race and then Restoration for a reason. So yeah I love the more vibrant, "wildlife" colors.

For that same reason, while hints of green in resto druids gear is nice, I disagree with blue not being fitting. As far as practical gearing goes (if we're to look at it in that sense), many forget that druids are not only from green & brown environments but blue as well (hello we have swimform lol) because a druid represents nature as a whole so...any environmental colors suit us even though we're used to seeing so much brown in the gear. But as Resto, brown is beyond boring. Just like that dead-looking tree form. I hated the T9/10 sets color as they seem to be the dullest. I would gladly take blue over brown any day!

I do agree with the comment on rogue's gear. I love the dark brooding look for rogues because it's what they represent. It's what they are. So yeah seeing a rogue in bright glowing yellow or neon green gear would be as weird as seeing a supposedly-stealthy ninja running through the night in a bright pink toga.
