The Patch 4.1 PTR Notes have been updated once again with the 2 missing changes from build 13698.
Warrior (Forums / Cataclysm Talent Calculator / Skills/Talents)Arms
- Strikes of Opportunity damage has been increased by 10% to keep stat parity with other strike changes.
Fury
- Unshackled Fury now only grants 2 base points of mastery, down from 8. This change offsets the Flurry boost to better control Fury burst damage.
Patch 4.1 on PTRs - Build 13698
A new build will be deployed on test realms today. Most of these changes were already documented in the latest PTR notes update but keep an eye out for new things!

Glyph
- Inscription: Glyph of Raise Ally has been replaced by Inscription: Glyph of Death Gate - Reduces the cast time of your Death Gate spell by 25%.
Druid (Forums / Cataclysm Talent Calculator / Beta Skills/Talents)Feral
- Stampeding Roar (Bear) now increases movement speed by 60% for 8 sec, up from 40% for 6 sec.
- Stampeding Roar (Cat) now increases movement speed by 60% for 8 sec, up from 40% for 6 sec.
Restoration
- Lifebloom now costs 11% of base mana, up from 7%. Base healing reduced by 20%, from 2306 to 1847.
Balance
- Cyclone now lasts 5 sec, down from 6 sec.
- Starsurge base damage has been reduced by 20%, from [ 1272 to 1756 ] to [ 1017 to 1405 ].
- Moonkin Form now frees the caster of movement impairing effects instead of slowing effects.
Priest (Forums / Cataclysm Talent Calculator / Beta Skills/Talents)Holy
- Body and Soul (Rank 2) now increases target's movement speed by 30%, up from 25%.
Discipline
- Inner Fire now lasts until cancelled.
- Inner Will now lasts until cancelled.
Warlock (Forums / Cataclysm Talent Calculator / Beta Skills/Talents)Demonology
- Demonic Empowerment now also removes fear, banish, or horror effects on your Felguard.
Warrior (Forums / Cataclysm Talent Calculator / Beta Skills/Talents)Protection
- Spell Reflection now has a 25 sec cooldown, up from 10 sec.
- Gag Order no longer affects Shield Bash.
- Shield Mastery no longer reduces the cooldown of Spell Reflect. Now causes your Shield Block to also reduce magic damage taken by 8/16/25%.
Fury
- Unshackled Fury now Increases the benefit of abilities that cause or require you to be enraged by 11.2%, down from 44,8%.
- Pummel no longer requires Battle or Berserker Stance.
Arms
- Strikes of Opportunity now gives a 17.6% (up from 16%) chance for your melee attacks to instantly trigger an additional melee attack for 100% normal damage. Each point of Mastery increases this chance by 2.2%. (Up from 2%)
- Drums of War no longer affects Shield Bash, now affects Demoralizing Shout, Intimidating Shout and Challenging Shout.
- Juggernaut now reduces the cooldown of your Charge by 2 sec, down from 3 sec.
Glyph
- Inscription: Glyph of Spell Reflection now reduces the cooldown on Spell Reflection by 5 sec, up from 1 sec.
