Hey, look, we still have region first kills/achievements! Midwinter (US-Ysera) was the first guild to complete Glory of the Cataclysm Raider on US servers! Congratulations to them!



Patch 4.0.6 Hotfixes - March 24

March 17 - March 24

Dungeons & Raids
  • Using Mind Control on the final creature of any dungeon gauntlet event should no longer cause the event to reset.
  • Creatures no longer evade and reset after Mind Control effects wear off.

The Bastion of Twilight
  • On Heroic difficulty, Fester Blood will no longer sometimes cause Cho’gall to stop consuming fire elementals.

Blackrock Caverns
  • Aura of Arcane Haste is now removed when leaving the dungeon.

Blackwing Descent
  • Magmaw will no longer cast Tantrum as long as he has a target in melee range.

Blackwing Lair
  • Razorgore does not evade when attacked immediately after being released from the orb. He should also no longer reset when the orb controller is interrupted.

Halls of Origination
  • The achievement Faster Than The Speed Of Light should now immediately be awarded upon completion.

Items
  • Drums of Forgotten Kings resistance does not stack with Shadow Protection, Resistance Aura, Elemental Resistance Totem, or Aspect of the Wild. It chooses the highest value for each resistance.
  • Shadow's Edge is no longer able to be disenchanted.

Latency Issues

From what I understand the fourth issue will be on it's way shortly and if you were subscribed for the first year, you will be receiving this issue in your mailbox soon. That said though, if you haven't resubscribed as of yet, you can do so on the site. We understand if you are disappointed in the wait times to receive your issues, but have been working with Future to make sure that the issues you are receiving are top quality.

As for exclusive content, the artwork is exclusive on the cover and within the pages as are the interviews that you see with Blizzard Staff along with other insights shared within it from other community members etc. Those are not revealed anywhere else save for if the magazine has already been released to paid subscribers, guaranteeing that no one else sees it before you do.

That said, the magazine is meant to be a bit of a keepsake of high quality (perfect for your coffee table) and we'll continue to keep an eye out for constructive feedback to pass along to Future, or you can reach out to them directly should you wish. I'm sure they'd love to hear from subscribers.

    Yeah I just don't get where this new mount's coming from. I didn't think the first one was that bad an idea, but this? I really think it's all about the blatant money grab now.

    Comic is funny, but the store only sells vanity items - people getting their knickers in a twist are only the ones that want the item but can't afford it.

    If I was Blizzard, I'd do it too. I'd do it for just the money. Every mount bought improves the company. Blizzard is not a charity fund, they started the company to forge lots and lots of money. Sure they could have given this mount for free, but they decided it's a store product. And it's fine. It helps the company in many ways.

    Also:

    Blizzard doesn't owe you anything.

    Could anyone explain to me why it is necessiary for players to not be able to disenchant Shadow's Edge? I can't think of one reason why that's in the patch notes...

    Also so many ppl from my guild cant play due to this latency issue... And guess what? There is no one to blame. Blizz didnt do anything, ISP company didnt do anything, and yet it doesnt work

    You were able to get a replacement one by talking to an NPC. Which meant before this hotfix, SE = Infinite Abyss Crystals.

    Interesting that it haden't been fixed say 15 months ago when Abyss Crystals were worth slightly more than nothing. Oh well... Thank you for solving that enigma for me :S

    I don't think people realized that back when SE was actually used as a weapon and not a crystal generating machine.

    Actually, I think they started the company to produce video games. Making money is definitely a part of that, an important one at that, but you won't get anywhere with that motivation, without also a passion for what you do that overwhelms even the urge for monetary gain.

    sadly got to agree, either I can buy this mount giving over to the corporate money bleeders.. or fly around on the 70th drake mount blizzard gave us ingame ¬.¬
