World of Warcraft 5.0 - Panda Mania!
In the latest Patch 4.1 PTR Build, two new halloween masks textures have been added to the game files:


  • Helm_MaskHalloween_PaF.blp
  • Helm_MaskHalloween_PaM.blp

They seem to be early-alpha texture but according to what happened with the datamining/leak of the Cataclysm races 2 years ago, it looks like Pandarens will be the race of the next expansion! The name of texture for any piece of headset always ends with the first 2 character of the name of the race (Pa) and the gender (M/F), according to how the textures look it's really easy to conclude what the new race is.


More datamining reveals that the expansion is apparently named Panda Mania! and also uncovered a possible trailer ....

    i wonder if someone is dumb enough to believe and cause chaos on the forums despite the fact thats its not from blizzard either way the " trailer " was a good laugh and it have jack black therefore this aprils fool is awesome /thumbs up

    imo this would have been really good if it was next years, cata would have been out for a year and thats about the time people start to suspect a new xpac

    It's not the Blizzard joke. This wasn't made by Blizzard.

    Still, most April fools jokes are pretty terrible, because it's not fun unless it's done from a person to another person and even then it's mostly boring.

    I barely remember it, but Bibi predicted Worgen/Goblin while we were still in Ulduar! Did we even have any clue what our new expansion was at that point? I can't remember when it was officially revealed...

    Too bad the mask models aren't real. =( It sure did remind me how awesome Bibi is!

    I thought they were both pretty good. I actualy believed it a bit at first and then slowly got a chuckle out of it, but then i saw the masses of comments of probably troll accounts going "Lame" and I got a bit sad panda, but then I saw the pic of the kitty going "Haters gonna hate", and I got happy panda.

    I like how people flame MMO champ/blizz for april fools jokes for 'not being believable' when people go in expecting an april fools joke.
