Will be fun when 2012 hits!
50%? more like 0,0001%. Like 50% of the player base use the forums.
But I love how complainers/QQers find a way to justify their QQ.
"BLIZZARD LISTENED TO MY POST ON MMO CHAMP, CLEARLY QQ PAY OFF, MAYBE THEY WILL MAKE FIRELANDS BIGGER TOO! QQ LEVEL INCREASED BY 1000%!"

    Still, good job Blizzard
Didn't a blue previously announce that Blizzard was doing an in house charity thing to where they matched 100% of the donations of the staff for the Relief effort? Its nice that this has opened up to the public as a way to support and get something in return but I Wouldn't say "good thing they decided to do something" sounds so negative :S

    Japan update:
    2,386 killed
    1,139 wounded

American citizens in an unprovoked attack less than 75 years ago.

And they built a nuke plant on a volcano. My milk in washington state now tests positive for radiation.

Blizzard should be put up for trial on charges of treason.

    Infracted. Please don't provoke trouble.

Awesome job blizzard. This idea was brought up day 1 of the EQ, not sure why it took so long to implement (creating a unique model maybe?) but it's a great idea. 100% of the sales too.

Apparently we Euros love Japan more than the US do cause we pay close to 15$. ;P

I've get next to no interest in this particular pet ... and I still got it now. Nice move Blizzard.

I think this is a wonderful idea! Using the Blizzard TCG pet for this is great, that's why they're able to donate 100% of the proceeds. I'll admit a unique pet would be nice but then I'd probably complain that Blizz should be putting their dev team to work making Firelands moar epic or fixing bugs!

    €10 is like $15, nice.

What they gonna do to help them then? Give a ticket to people that buy the pet, so they can go and help them rebuild stuff? Like you would DARE buy it then.

The only reason i'm not mad about it (again and again) is because it's all for Japan, because seriously, companies need to stop pricing in Europe with the same number as in the US, it's not a small difference, i could buy 3 of these instead of two with the same money if it was the same price. And this is a small thing, imagine stuff like a game console and stuff like that.

They saw that not contributing to the Japan relief was harming their business image.

It'll make blizz money, starting August 2nd.

Note that I don't think any less of what they're doing...they're donating the first three months of sales to Japan, and I'm sure that'll be a significant amount.
