The great staff duplicates destructive magics, and also bestows upon its wielder the ability to transform into a member of the Blue Dragonflight.

Also, please keep in mind that some items on the PTR are still considered "works-in-progress," so certain aspects of their design -- including stats, on-use abilities, and appearance -- may change before the next patch goes live. :)

Oh! And just to clarify (since I saw this asked in another thread), Dragonwrath will not be BoE.

Tier 12 - Druid Model Preview
The Druid Tier 12 files are partially in this patch and I had enough to do a small preview.


  • The gloves are slightly bugged and will look a little weird.
  • The shoulders aren't in the game files yet.

    Those stats don't look much better than the staff right next to it. Only 20 more INT and 20 more Crit. The proc had better make it worth the grind. If so my doomkin will fall in love with it.

    Yah, all of that screams not quite finished, but whatever, it's PTR for a reason. Unlikely that Ragnaros will even be available on the PTR.

    Spellpower is probably the same because the Proc is going to be that awesome.

    yep.. like this this legendary would only be a minor upgrade to the normal epic staff. it wouldbt even be worth to get... its pretty unfinished i think.

    My god... the amount of stupidity in these comments:

    This is DATAMINED information. It's never complete.

    As you can see, it doesn't even say "Staff", it says "Weapon". Proc is not there, stats could not be final, it says BoE. I hardly think it's complete.

    Stop complaining over datamined information.
