World First 2000 Guild Achievement Points - Intent of US-Kel'thuzad
While people are working on first kill, others are using their time to get achievement points for their guild, a lot of them. A few days ago, Intent of US-Kel'thuzad was the first guild to reach 2000 Guild Achievement Points in the world! They only have 4 achievement left on their list:

Congratulations to the entire guild for an impressive achievement, and for spending so much time with nemex without eventually deciding to kill him. I know I would.

New Official Website Feature - Companions and Mounts
Totally missed that blue post earlier this week, you can now track your mounts and pets on the official website! You can now go to the Companions & Mounts tab of your profile to get a list of all the mounts and companion pets you currently own + the ones you don't have yet!

The list also includes a couple of filters, a small modelviewer, and information on where to get the ones you're missing!

A visit to your character profile will reveal a new heading entitled “Companions & Mounts.” There you’ll find a complete list of in-game pets and mounts that your character can discover throughout Azeroth (and beyond). The list is conveniently divided between those that your character has already collected, and those that you have yet to find.

Still pursuing a particular pet? Mad for a magnificent mount? Just mouse over the object of your desire in the Companions & Mounts page and you’ll see information that should help make your next hunt a success. You can filter the results to make it easier to find pets and mounts from a particular source, or sort them by rarity to help you plan future collecting expeditions.

The update is live, so head on over to your character profile to visit your pals right now!

Finally, mount/pet tracking was missing from WoW.Thankfully I won't have to rely on the slow and buggy warcraftpets.com \o/

Another disappointing day... I only come here hoping to see a blue post that says "* You can now mail heirlooms across different servers. Enjoy!", until that day... no reason to even play WoW lol.

    Y
ou haven't done any raids or managed to even break 1550 in arena?!?!?!?! Please post more on forum sites about you have nothing to do in this game and how much better your Everquest is.
While I get you are trying to show he hasn't done everything in the game yet, I'm not sure pointing out that he hasn't been involved two parts of the games which basically consist of repeating the same activity over and over again contradicts his point.

Dude. WHAT ? Nothing ? There are TONS of rewards for Achievements. Titles. Mounts. Pets. Shiny items. Tabards. Hell even gold, because when you are chasing achievements like BC rep, you are mostly going to solo Outland dongeons and make a couple hundred gold each day in the process.

Just because you have no clue and no fun in doing achievements shouldnt mean trying to trash them so bad. Achievements were a HUGE source of fun for me while waiting for raids back in 2010. Now I'm out of this game, but Achievements hunting remain the funniest and most thrilling part of Wow for me.

Am i the only one thats gonna bring to attention the...
Titan will be the "casuals" mmo.
So now instead of looking forward to the "next big thing" from Blizzard i can look forward to "WoW 2.0! Now with more easy!". Like it isnt the easiest p2p mmo around as it is wtf.

Titan is going to be a fps. If it's anything like planetside it will be massive.. since its Blizzard doing it. Planetside was quite awesome during launch and a up until expansion. After that it failed big time. It don't get more hardcore than a fps, you can't hide behind rng and fancy gear. If you suck, you suck, period. Of course planetside 2 is being developed as i write this. Looking forward to that. WoW is dead to me, it had its moments during vanilla, mostly due to it being "fresh" and "new". Those two no longer applies. I don't care if a game is easy or hardcore as long it's FUN. That is all that matters.

the companions and mounts feature is nice, as long as they don't intent to add a "Buy!"-Button.

Heh, if you use the advanced filters there's a selection for "pet store". That's very very very close to a buy button! :P

"Defeat Ragnaros in Firelands on Heroic difficulty while in a guild group"

of course it's going to be a guild group, do you think you can do it with randoms?

Maybe we should call this game guild wars.

Also this; It REALLY can't be hard to code this, Blizzard. Surely

Seeing as you clearly know exactly how the WoW coding's infrastructure works, you wouldn't mind sharing exactly how to do this, would you?

Speaking as a person with some knowledge in programming, what looks like an easy feature to implement isn't necessarily that easy behind the scenes.

Eh, the pet and mount feature is nice, but I prefer using Warcraftpets and Warcraftmounts. I'd rather have that stupid 3D posing system the old Armory had near the end of its life. (When I say stupid, I just mean it was silly.)
