DREAM Paragon just killed Ragnaros in 25-Man Heroic Mode! Congratulations to them!


Ragnaros: Too soon! (From Paragon)

Or was it? No, not really. Not if you ask us.

We've NEVER put as much effort into a kill as we now did on downing Heroic Ragnaros. We had a few grueling low percentage wipes and we were already planning on continuing early tomorrow with a better set of gear. Our kill attempt was going to be our last pull of the night as the thunderstorms and disconnects were kicking in.

Then everything clicked. All of our combined effort, practicing, theorycrafting and planning finally paid off. We had a near-perfect try and Ragnaros just melted away. A wave of relief washed over us. It was finally over. We wiped 500+ times on the boss, although I lost count at some point. Absolutely epic feeling after such an epic fight!

    So much QQ over "no shaman"...srsly, this is world first kill, they stack their raid to handle mechanics, and obviously Shaman was out-mechanic'd by other classes. Quit yer QQing already.

    Anyways, cool, good to know it's not impossible.

    I'm disappointed...NO SHAMAN!? Top end raiding with a 25 man group and all the other classes present but not a single shaman. Got a rogue but not an enhancement shaman? Okay...have fun without your self rez rogue. But seriously...you guys need a shaman hit me up...and grats and stuff.

    They have shamans that are geared. For some reason shaman was just not needed for this fight.

    I did not say the shamans were bad. Do not misunderstand. What I'm saying is, is it not possible that, say one of the priests and one of the druids were slightly better than two shamans they had in the guild? As in, they had the tiniest bit better of latency to make all the difference? Or slightly quicker reflexes?

    it took 5 pages for ppl to recognize tht there were no shamans

    GZ to them .. glad am not playing any more or tht zero shaman thingy would have made mine cry

    I can almost guarantee you that it didn't come down to who's the better player, but what their class brings to the raid.

    Having checked their shamans on armory, I'm gonna go with "...No", they are just as geared as all the others, but why bring an elemental shaman, when you can bring a fire mage? Why bring an enhancement shaman when you can bring a frost death knight? Why bring a restoration shaman when you can bring... fuck it, any other healer?
