DREAM Paragon just killed Ragnaros in 25-Man Heroic Mode! Congratulations to them!


Ragnaros: Too soon! (From Paragon)

Or was it? No, not really. Not if you ask us.

We've NEVER put as much effort into a kill as we now did on downing Heroic Ragnaros. We had a few grueling low percentage wipes and we were already planning on continuing early tomorrow with a better set of gear. Our kill attempt was going to be our last pull of the night as the thunderstorms and disconnects were kicking in.

Then everything clicked. All of our combined effort, practicing, theorycrafting and planning finally paid off. We had a near-perfect try and Ragnaros just melted away. A wave of relief washed over us. It was finally over. We wiped 500+ times on the boss, although I lost count at some point. Absolutely epic feeling after such an epic fight!

    I thought we stopped calling them "world first" and would go for a "US/EU first" model, since the resets are on different times for a long time now.

    The EU/US split is from the other end.

    You call it US first when US kill something first very shortly after patch day because they get it 1 day early.

    After weeks it's irelevant.
    In US 2 resets passed and nobody killed it. They will probably get it within the 3rd one with much more gear etc.
    In EU 2 resets passed and Paragon got it.

    That wasn't an exploit, it was class stacking. All classes can use the huge damage buff on Nef, it just helped Ferals more because Rip is (well, was) the best DoT in the game.

    Using warlocks on Yogg-0 because they can cast channeled spells and then turn around to avoid the glare isn't an exploit either. It is just how the game works.

    Edit: There you go - no more than 5 of any class.

    well so much for guildox's heroic kill dates are now normalized by region to compensate for delayed access to content.considering it still shows them 6/7 heroic
