I feel as though this might be the one time Boub's wrong and this won't be the next expansion. Or so I hope...

No please, no more expansions. An expansion would mean the full recycling of graphics, models and content for the 4th time. More tiers, more seasons...pass. A brand new MMO is needed.

If the Zandalari are one of the main threats of that expansion (patch?) they will probably add more troll models, which also means they need updated models for all older races

Well if it was finshed it would be CONTENT..Since it isnt finished its LORE.

I hope this is true and the Hero Class Healer rumor is true because this might mean we are going to see MONKS as the new class Healer/DPS. That would be awesome.

TBH I would be surprised if this was to be the next expansion. Blizzard has never done anything large with the Pandarens, and I don't expect them to. I also believe that they said the Pandarens would not be a playable race; I just don't have a source link to that. Not like it matters if there's a source link anyway since Blizzard seems not to stick to it's guns anymore and is trying to nickle and dime the community at every turn now.

In regards to the other comments saying that this could be something else: I entirely agree. I don't think this will be part of WoW, and will more than likely be something in either a different product or something else entirely that I'm not able to think of. Just because Blizzard did something doesn't mean it's part of WoW.

Blizzard is working on another game called Titan.
For that reason I have some doubt that this is a WoW expansion.

Sorry, but titan is a new IP, and Pandaria actually has some canon lore in WoW.

Sure, we haven't seen Pandaren yet... but we've seen something else.

The Zandalari empire.

The Zandalari empire is based in the South Seas. So is (theoretically) Pandara.

And isn't it strange that in a cataclysm-based expansion we suddenly got two troll (admittedly re-vamped) instances dedicated to introducing Zul and the rise of the Zandalari Trolls?

Who's to say that Zul and N'zoth (?) aren't the next big bad bullies?

Either way, there's going to be a lot more than just panda people in Pandara. Trolls and Bloodsail pirates come to mind, not to mention more Naga sprinklings - possible appearance by Queen Azshara finally wouldn't hurt matters either...

Seconded... yeah, Titan (or whatever the new IP is really going to be finally called) is going to have nothing to do with Pandaren.

... first, Blizz said it's a new IP.

Second, I highly doubt that they're going to name their new MMO off of something that is in the lore of World of Warcraft and have it be something utterly different.

I have 2 different ideas about would could come with this expansion :

Idea 1: "South seas" style expansion. Pandaria is needing help from something (Queen Azshara, N'zoth maybe?) and that's where this Pandaria bit comes from. Patch 4.1 also brought back the Zandalari Troll's, so good lead into going to Zandalar there, which is also another island. N'zoth, also very much to do with the sea. He was also the cause of what made deathwing go psycho I believe too, so nice little join from Cataclysm to the next expansion there.. Just lot's of lead ins to a "south seas" expansion

Idea 2: Well, this isn't really an idea and isn't fleshed out at all. More a though really. This could possibly be a emerald dream expansion. When the nightmare started taking people during the stormrage novel, the area was covered in mist. Now, shit could have hit the pan in Pandaria, and they have been taken over by the mists. But I know that blizzard have said that they want the novels to be separate from the books, but they have to relate to each other in a way. They can't have a book where thrall and various other important people in the warcraft lore die (And are dead for good) and then have them in game all fine and dandy and very much living. There has to be a line somewhere. I also don't know if they said this after Stormrage was released or before it. But a possibility, that this could acctually be a Emerald dream expansion. I think that it's unlikely though, and probably the "south seas" style expansion.We'll just have to wait until Blizzcon and find out!

Hey, who necro'd this post? I could have sworn half of these comments are from the Halloween mask fiasco before cata was confirmed. I'd rather not waste my time trying to argue in a forum about the reality of this being the new expansion, pandarens being a new race, and how people are going to "Quit Forever" because of it. Let's wait until Blizzcon and we can all laugh at whose wrong afterwords with people posting in this thread quoting the people that were wrong and pointing the proverbial finger and laughing through their cpu monitors.

Hoorah for a passionate fan base.

more importantly, what would their mount be? :P
