Update - For the record, the international codes 009 and 041 only seems to appear on Blizzard's online games trademarks. This isn't a book or anything like that. It appears incredibly likely based on previous trademarks obtained by Blizzard that this is the next expansion.

Mists of Pandaria
Blizzard just trademarked a very interesting "Mists of Pandaria".

Apparently, Wowhead reported Blizzard has also bought "Pandaria" domain (don't know actual address, just reporting what I heard elsewhere). So, expansion looking more and more likely?

well if this is the name of new Expansion, i wont be buying it .. Vengence of the Void seemed more Blizz like .. but until it is confirmed to be the new expansion, i will have my fingers crossed it isn't, hopefully a patch though

My opinion is that i think that alot of people are blowing this all out of preportion. This is just a little leak of some sort... but i think we should just wait and see what blizzard says about all this milarky, save us from our own imaginations Saying that i really do love seeing/hearing what your ideas are some of them are really cool and creative.

If this is the route blizzard are taking us down, then i am really interested in seeing what they come up with! plus i think with the cataclysm overhaul has added some very interesting aspects to the game. Possibly Blizzards way of saying "hey look guys, i know we fucked up somethings the first time round but look we're learning'
plus it spices up the game, if they do add a new zone thats abit asian'y feeling to it that would be interesting to see, I totally dig the Pandaren! Tis unique.
Either way some where down the line the Pandarens are going to be playable (i hope) they have some lore (with room to expand on) as someone said before there are traces of pandaren items possibly the (old gf moving in tactic of slowly moving a few items in here and there trick? xP)

I like the idea of them being neutral and being able to choose which fraction to side with, lets face it both fractions want pandarens lmao or there will be inner turmoil i mean who wants frickin Naga walking around!?.... Uuoooh wait! on second thought, throw a fish bowl on their head and POW!!! am sold mudda focker!!! xD

yea am looking forward to see what blizzards intentions are hopefully we wont get all the fricken rawww awesome ideas in our heads and get let down!

Peace out ma brudas and sisteys

I don't understand the reasoning to base your entire purchase choice on the title of something and absolutely nothing else. Pandaria can definately create a serious plot. Because Cow-men, space goats, and grape flavored elves aren't the epitome of seriousness to begin with.

Let's wait until Blizzcon and we can all laugh at whose wrong afterwords with people posting in this thread quoting the people that were wrong and pointing the proverbial finger and laughing through their cpu monitors.

Hoorah for a passionate fan base.
...you do realize the "wrong" rumors flying around when the Masks that showed Goblin and Worgen appeared and people believed that they were indications of the next playable race did turn out to be true, right?

If this is the name of the next expansion, I gotta say that it sounds like a fitting title to Aion or Tera online XD

You do realize that the Tuskarr race started out as a joke, right? Just one tiny village in WC3....

And look how much introduction we got to them before Wrath... that's right, none...

On a side-note, what would the new profession be?

I'm hoping it will be a Secondary Profession: Brewing! Of course that could compete with cooking...

Also, it will make Brewfest a LOT more interesting to see how they'll add in the Pandaren to that event!

I don't really think it will be a full expansion.

    Just doesn't fit the pattern:

WoW: The Burning Crusade - Big Bad = Burning Legion
WoW: Wrath of the Lich King - Big Bad = Arthas
WoW: Cataclysm - Big Bad = Deathwing
WoW: Mists of Pandaria - Big Bad = ???????

Also, I could be wrong, but I don't see an Old God being the big bad of an entire expansion. Historically, this has gone to a major lore character, with an Old God being a raid leading up the big bad. AQ40, Ulduar, etc. That naming just seems weird. It doesn't sound epic enough to be a x-pac. More like a content patch or another game entirely. I mean it would be like naming the WotLK expansion: "WoW: Snows of Northrend". It just doesn't fit.

brewing sounds too close to alch, but it could perhaps work alongside it, say in a raid you are alowed 1 food buff, 1 flask buff and 1 brew buff.

So you're saying it doesn't fit the pattern of... what, exactly? Having the villain in the title? You mean, like Cataclysm? Nothing in "Cataclysm" indicates Deathwing or Old Gods.

I like the idea of an entire new continent. Pandaria & the South Seas have alot of potential lore. Whatever it's going to be, I can't wait to see what kind of abilities, spells and game mechanics they're going to add.

So just cause you dont know the new big enemy means its not likely to be an expansion? What is this...i dont even..
But just so you know , just cause the expansion has Pandaria in title doesnt mean it wont contain south isles and such. And the big enemy could be Azshara.
Man ppl on internet rly make their own strage reasons for something to be wrong

You never know. Either way I'm not here to start a big argument just stating my opinion.
