Firelands Raid Changes Incoming

Players will threaten to quit if Blizzard decided to change the Paladin class color from pink to yellow. People need to stop throwing the "I'll quit!' card around so much as it merely makes you look like a whiner.

Again, isn't this why we have normal and heroic content in the first place, to cater to both groups, normal can be made easy and heroic can be made hard, if your in between you probably won't clear both but you get to see all and get as far as you get in the hard version, can't think of a better compromise tbh.

you sound like a QQ'er to me the reason blizz make these dick moves, is due to sub's form the new (casual) players that join wow, they are so scared that with star wars coming soon and gw2 the people will stop playing, tbh they should have left the game "hard" and "fun" not easy and shit as it is now

The only people who complain about this are either the idiots who havent even killed a heroic boss and are moaning for the sake of moaning, or those progressing on Rag heroic. Other people should have made faster progress by now. Its been out for 3 months, what you been upto in that time? We've only got 3/7 heroic modes down, and I personally dont really care because Firelands isnt that good imo.

dissappointed tbh. was looking forward to killing ragnaros before it was nirfed...

Pretty much. The players complaining and acting like it's the end of the world probably aren't progressed to begin with. As stated before, everyone who's been farming this content since about the second week will proceed to do so whether they nerf it 20% or buff it 20%. You'd think they would be the most excited to not have to sit through the crapfest that is Beth Heroic again and instead get back to Rag progression.

"Casual" players still aren't going to get far in Firelands even with a nerf. You still have to have some level of competency. A 20% nerf isn't going to stop players from spreading Torment to the raid, teach people to blow up Broodlings, how to turn Rhyolith, to get behind cover on Alys, etc.

Umm...what? Did I once mention my distaste in the direction Blizzard was going? No. Did I once mention my agreement with the direction Blizzard is going? No. So how in the multi-colored flying alien shit do you think I'm a QQer?

Also, first you say that the game is being changed because the whiners/casuals/bads. And now you're going in a completely different direction about Blizzard changing the game because they're scared of MMOs that aren't even out yet?

In the end, this shouldn't be a surprise. Blizz has been nerfing content after it has been out for a while to allow more people to see it. Big deal. They made the content to be experienced. Once the amount of new players beating the content slows to a trickle, it's time or a nerf. It also may be an indicator of an upcoming patch.

And good for that. Bring on Deathwing!

They should add buff like in icc,so you can remove it anytime you want,i guess that would be fair for both sides.

just don't think people like Kungen quit playing WoW because people he doesn't even concern himself with are getting easier content 2-3 months after he killed it. I think boss encounters are boring, it's too much of the same, no shakeup in the system. Boss fights had been reduced to taunt rotations, add phases and the success of them is heavily based on whether or not people kill themselves.Deathwing sounds like a whole new way of presenting a boss... I think that's the sort of thing they need to introduce. It can't just be 'enter room, engage boss'. The scale of the fights seem soo small. I think back to games like Shadow of the Colossus and how epic the fights felt, if they could make the scale of the fights bigger, more unique, I think people will be more drawn into it.

Totalbiscuit's going to be on this Friday's Q&A on Jesse Cox's channel. I wonder what he'll spend the entire time whining about. Oh, wait. No, I don't. I already know.

you can watch vids for that shit, the nerf allows lesser geared people to raid content that i and others have busted our nuts to do and i think it is unfair on players with skill to reward players with lesser skill, they have their welfare epics ffs and t11 from normal hc's and t12 from normal hc's, untill 4.3 why nerf it and allow this shit to go on, unless you are scared to lose subs to starwars....

What if you are at 5/7 HC and wanted the same challenge as everyone else, why do you think it's OK to talk down to them and deny them they same challenge?

Both normal and heroic? And not even only when 4.3 hits??

Sad that we can't play the game we payed for the way we want it.

We all need to rush everything, or blizzard will just take it away in less then 6 months... well, thanks I guess? Working so hard the last few weeks to improve the strats and get the last % from the heroic encounters to just get pushed all trough it by Blizzard instead...

Looks like the best approach is to just roflstomp the normal mode, then just cancel subscription and pay again near the next patch. Roflstomp heroic modes, the new normal modes, repeat.
