Mage - Timelord Regalia

It’s fun to put a spin on any caster class that moves it away from the usual wizardly archetype, and this set provided the perfect opportunity to do just that. Gnomish clockwork technology is an established part of the Warcraft universe, but it’s not something we’ve incorporated into a tier of player armor before. The combination of moving cogs, quilted fabric, and lots of buckled straps give the set an intriguing "techno-mage" flavor.

Quite different what we've used for mage set. I like it. Fits gnomes just perfectly. Might not fit very well with most races though. Good thing you can transmogrify out of it

The name doesn't fit with the theme at all, though.

Exchange the helm with some engeneering googles and I think it will liik better. It's not epic, but I kinda like the colours and the really nice textures on the robe and the shoulders. And the gloves are just great, I think. I'd like to see a gnome mage in this set.

Doctor Who reference and style, what's in there not to love?

*Cue the Doctor Who theme.*What? It said TIMELORD. That's a blatant Doctor reference!

    Who doesn't?
The pop culture references have stopped being references at this point...

I don't understand the concept of "getting away from mage themes" in mage gear...

I don't know if I feel worse for mages because of the simple appearance of this set, or because of the new nick-name "Chicken Head"...

I think that this is gonna be the ugliest tier set for every class in the game

Ugh... is this supposed to look like mage armor? Looks like it has headlights coming out of the helm.

f*cking sweet, my gnomish engineer gnome mage is gonna love this. Alas they never put in the "Doctor" title for realm first 450 first aid. If that had happened I would have name changed to some variation of "Who"

Way better than 'locks, Shaman and Druids... Now place a 'Q_Q' on the goggles and it's perfect!

Ok, just because it is name Timelord.... i LOVE it. That is all.

Nice idea, it can project the Q_Q on the ceiling of whatever room your in or on the sky bat signal style.

Time Wizard! Time Roulette! Actually, this set looks crazy. Like a steam-punk Mage. I like the look a lot, even though it could look a little more Mage-y (more grand and outstanding, imo)

It was only a matter of time before the beer can helmet was going to work its way into WOW fashions. But, a mage??? I can see maybe a dwarf pally or a warrior. Strange......

Well, I'm officially jealous of mages for the first time ever. I love the whole steampunk aesthetic. And now here you guys come along with gears on your shoulders. GEARS! I want gears! Also, I think I've figured out the theme of this tier:

All the "big players" in the Deathwing story, which includes:
The 5 Aspects (we've seen 2 so far)
Thrall (shaman gear instantly made me think of him)
    The faceless ones (Warlock)
    The Twilights Hammer cult
The Druidic factions (Avengers of Hyjal, Malfurion and his friends, hence the very basic "druidic" theme of the Druid set)
And possibly the Shadow Wardens (Rogue gear maybe?)
