While we’ve been previewing the visuals of tier 13 on the front page at http://www.worldofwarcraft.com, we thought you might be interested in the magics that lay imbued betwixt their stitches and plating. Behold -- the tier 13 set bonuses!

Please keep in mind that the below data is pre--PTR and could change prior to the release of patch 4.3.

Death Knight
  • Blood, 2P -- When an attack drops your health below 35%, one of your Blood Runes will immediately activate and convert into a Death Rune for the next 20 sec. This effect cannot occur more than once every 45 sec.
  • Blood, 4P -- Your Vampiric Blood ability also affects all party and raid members for 50% of the effect it has on you.
  • DPS, 2P -- Sudden Doom has a 30% chance and Rime has a 60% chance to grant 2 charges when triggered instead of 1.
  • DPS, 4P -- Runic Empowerment has a 25% chance and Runic Corruption has a 40% chance to also grant 710 mastery rating for 12 sec when activated.

Druid
  • Balance, 2P -- Insect Swarm increases all damage done by your Starfire, Starsurge, and Wrath spells against that target by 3%.
  • Balance, 4P -- Starsurge generates 100% extra Lunar or Solar energy while Eclipse is not active.
  • Feral, 2P -- While Berserk is active, Savage Defense absorbs are 100% larger, and your Blood in the Water talent now causes Ferocious Bite to refresh the duration of your Rip on targets with 60% or less health.
  • Feral, 4P -- Frenzied Regeneration also affects all raid and party members, and your Stampede talent now grants two charges after using Feral Charge (Cat).
  • Restoration, 2P -- After using Innervate, the mana cost of your healing spells is reduced by 25% for 15 sec.
  • Restoration, 4P -- Your Rejuvenation and Regrowth spells have a 10% chance to Timeslip and have double the normal duration.

Hunter
  • 2P -- Steady Shot and Cobra Shot generate double the amount of focus.
  • 4P -- Your Arcane Shot ability has a chance to grant 25% haste to you and your pet for 10 sec.

Mage
  • 2P -- Your damaging spells have a 30% chance to grant Stolen Time, increasing your haste rating by 50 for 30 sec and stacking up to 10 times. When Arcane Power, Combustion, or Icy Veins expires, all stacks of Stolen Time are lost.
  • 4P -- Each stack of Stolen Time also reduces the cooldown of Arcane Power by 3 sec, Combustion by 4 sec, and Icy Veins by 6 sec.

Paladin
  • Holy, 2P -- After using Divine Favor, the mana cost of your healing spells is reduced by 25% for 15 sec.
  • Holy, 4P -- Increases the healing done by your Holy Radiance spell by 20%.
  • Protection, 2P -- Your Judgement ability now also grants a physical absorb shield equal to 30% of the damage it dealt.
  • Protection, 4P -- Reduces the cooldown of Divine Guardian by 60 sec and increases the radius of its effect by 70 yards.
  • Retribution, 2P -- Your Judgement ability has a 50% chance to generate 1 Holy Power.
  • Retribution, 4P -- While Zealotry is active your abilities deal 12% more damage.

Priest
  • Healer, 2P -- After using Power Infusion or Lightwell, the mana cost of your healing spells is reduced by 25% for [10|15] sec. (10 sec for Discipline, 15 for non--Discipline.)
  • Healer, 4P -- Your Power Word: Shield has a 10% chance to absorb 100% additional damage, and the cooldown of your Holy Word abilities is reduced by 20%.
  • Shadow, 2P -- Shadow Word: Death deals an additional 55% damage, and you no longer take damage from your own Shadow Word: Death when the target fails to die.
  • Shadow, 4P -- Your Shadowfiend and Shadowy Apparitions have a 100% chance to grant you 3 Shadow Orbs each time they deal damage.

Rogue
  • 2P -- After triggering Tricks of the Trade, your abilities cost 20% less energy for 6 sec.
  • 4P -- Increases the duration of Shadow Dance by 2 sec, Adrenaline Rush by 3 sec, and Vendetta by 9 sec.

Shaman
  • Elemental, 2P -- Elemental Mastery also grants you 400 mastery rating 15 sec.
  • Elemental, 4P -- Each time Elemental Overload triggers, you gain 200 haste rating for 4 sec, stacking up to 3 times.
  • Enhancement, 2P -- While you have any stacks of Maelstrom Weapon, your Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning, and healing spells deal 20% more healing or damage.
  • Enhancement, 4P -- Your Feral Spirits have a 45% chance to grant you a charge of Maelstrom Weapon each time they deal damage.
  • Restoration, 2P -- After using Mana Tide Totem, the cost of your healing spells are reduced by 25% for 15 sec.
  • Restoration, 4P -- Increases the duration of Spiritwalker's Grace by 5 sec, and you gain 30% haste while Spiritwalker's grace is active.

Warlock
  • 2P -- The duration of your Doomguard and Infernal summons is increased by [15|45] sec and the cooldown of of those spells is reduced by 4 min. (45 for Demonology, 15 for non--Demonology.)
  • 4P -- Soulburn grants a 10% increase to your spell power for 10 sec.

Warrior
  • Protection, 2P -- Your Revenge ability now also grants a physical absorption shield equal to 20% of the damage done by Revenge.
  • Protection, 4P -- Your Shield Wall ability now grants 50% of its effect to all party and raid members.
  • DPS, 2P -- Heroic Strike costs 10 less rage while Inner Rage is active.
  • DPS, 4P -- Your Execute critical strikes have a 20% chance to refresh the duration of Colossus Smash.

    Hunter bonuses are nice, that's all I care about.

    The warlocks bonuses seem rather biased and boring. This can honestly go either way with it though, either a wasted monkey has declared demonology THE pve spec, now outfitted with a "creative" mastery scaling doomguard and 110/360 seconds uptime(welcome to ridiculous damage on pull and 6min+). Or they imply that they are gonna tune down demonology scaling and/or buff the rest to equal value. Lets just see what the incoming balancing changes are then.

    The enhancement bonuses just cry for a caster main hand... great job (not that I don't like the bonuses, they are very nice)

    15% health and 40% increased healing for the raid for 10 seconds is nothing to scoff at.

    I also have the sneaking suspicion that these raid cooldowns are going to be mandatory for one or more of the boss encounters in the new raid.

    As holy priest I don't really like lighwell being the one triggering mana reduction. Holy word cd might be useful especially for tank healing since now Im able to keep serenity up most of the time, but as in 4p bonus? Meh. For disc 2p is godly having 45% mana reduce and 20% haste for 10/15 seconds, the 4p is kinda fun but maybe too rng to be used as shield absorb.

    Lots of these set bonuses show promise and Im looking forward to the ptr and finally the final versions.

    4.3 and Dragon Soul sounds like HUGE AoE damage incoming. Somehow I instantly got reminded deathwing without his armor that keeps all the "volatile stuff and magma" inside him

    The 2p tanking for DK is shit. Even tho every other class gets some absobring we get another death rune. Yeey? We need atleast 2 to get out blood shield with a death strike and we would need to use our Blood Tap to get it. gg blizz

    Not at all! TotT --> 6 seconds of cheaper abilities is nice. Adrenaline Rush is by far the strongest DPS boost for combat, so 3 additional seconds is fine with me

    hmm not too keen on the 2pt for healers, same for every class basically.. can see lots of effort went into that /sarcasm. priest 4pt is bleh as well, rng much.

    I'm not quite sure what they were thinking when they designed both the Hunter set bonuses as well as Warrior DPS...

    12 focus per CS/SS? You've got to be kidding me. Hunters are gonna be focus capped pretty much all the time, I suspect, especially with the 25% haste from the 4-piece. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if Arcane Shot and CS/SS were topping the damage done for them...

    And as an Arms Warrior... Wait, what? You tied the set bonus to Heroic Strike? It's not something I spam at the best of time, except on gimmick fights like Alysrazor or where there's so much damage flying about that it's sick. In any other case, I usually don't have the rage for more than the occasional HS.

    And the 4-set? 20% chance to proc on an ability that has a ~20-ish % chance to crit, that can only be used sub-20%, in a 6 second timeframe? I suspect the stats will have to be stellar for me to go for this junk. I would rather have seen it increase the range in which you can execute to 25 or 30%. Or hell, why not 40%, so it can be considered way overpowered, for once.

    all tank 4P bounses are amazing and it would not surprice me if you will be forced to have 4p as tank when faceing deathwing or your healers will have a nightmare healing it. this is ofc if they don't how these spells works with 4.3but i can see this beaing very very op in prevous raid tiers sens they wheren't balanced for it

Dont have the numbers, but suprice, we dont crit that much with Execute tbh...That means that the 4 peace, top tier in Cataclysm is usefull for a fraction of the fight under 20% boss hp. Compare with a hunter or mage 2 set, its a imba boost to total dps!This is just wrong, as arms slacking in pve, make Mortal Strike refresh CS as 4 set, that would bring back some competition (yeah could make setbonus not apply in arena if it would be to dangerous. Or change the cd on Slam, take something of the gcd, make MS have a 50% chance to hit for 2xdamage or something. But this just made me lol.Looked like they took dps warriors last and just forgot to think it through...Man i pray they rethink this shit!

    I feel sorry for my warr, this is total crap i hope they will change it & as I see most of the melee classes got crapy bonuses. But for warriors I haven't seen 1 good thing since Cata was launched, we are always geting satisfaction with some stupid shit.........

    I need to say it to.Warrior dps set it horrible ! We dont do now dps and we will not after patch. Blizzard even dont want boost tier bonuses... better is catch some heroics items instead waiting for lucky drop to mark for crap!...wtf ?

    Warrior 2p set is useless, but atleast gives you even more reason to fully talent ''Improved Revenge''

    Warior 4p set looks imba, gonna be VERY usefull for raids

    Ok ok, so the warrior bonuses isnt that awesome when u take a first glance at them, but the 2p bonus actually does make Inner Rage worth using at some point. If ure a troll u can spam HS during Berserk, or u can spam it during BL/heroism. I actually think it's interesting, and it's gonna be fun to try and put it into my rotation at some point (and it wont cost that much as HS is off gcd).
    "4p bonus is a bit more straight forward imo, as it's completely useless the first 80% of a fight and completely op the last 20% (in my opinion)", is what I would say, but I wont, cuz I know better and I have no math on the actual dps bonus it will grant and as such I'll try to refrain from commenting on it. but i wont. *mwahahahaha* I hardly think this is a big dps boost. And considering it has a 20% proc chance from ur execute crits, it's really meh..... U use 5 executes the first 5-ish seconds after hitting 20% and then we use it every 7-8 seconds just to keep the executioner up and considering CS lasts for 6 seconds, we basicly have to destroy our entire sub 20% rotation to let this 4p bonus have any effect (destroy as in spamming execute). And blizzard said they were buffing melees to be on par with ranged in Dragons Soul or w/e the place is called? If they made better set bonuses maybe they wouldn't have to.
