Patch 4.3 Map Improvements, Glyph of Shadow, Divine Aegis and Hurricane Animations

Thats a new spell effect for divine aegis?... ... ...I must not be seeing it.

I'm glad they spend a lot of time on pointless stuff like minimap enhancements instead of working harder to release new content faster.

The old one had more of an animation before the bubble appeared. This one, well... kinda just pops up and looks just like the original Aegis bubble. Less of a flashy animation into the bubble though.

Here's a good look at the old Aegis.

The map changes are awesome! I haven't leveled much in cataclysm yet and thus don't know the levels of all areas. On my new Sunwalker, I go to places and think "oh, didn't know they lowered/increased the level of this area".

The minimap has an improved menu and will let you track a couple more things, including areas, focus target, etc ...

focus target is allready visable on minimap on live...only 2 things are new: digsites & Quest Places of Interesst...

When I am posting I put up whatever is up at the time, provided we didn't post it last week. I even posted late today and it still wasn't up. At the time this was posted the update wasn't done, I went ahead and updated it just for you though!

I'm glad you realize that not every one at bliz makes the new pve/pvp/pets/mounts/and the new map enhancements. come on people really? they have different jobs, the people who are enhancing the maps are not making our raids.

Not me. Ill be changing all my gear with transmogrification. But i would never give up a glyph spot for a graphics change.

Because of transmogrification, which otherwise would be rather wasted on a shadow priest.
What would be the point of using a feature if you other people cannot easily see the result.

While the region tracking on the minimap is a useful addition for many, it is again a feature blizzard are ripping off from a 3rd party addon.
It also at least in the current blizzard implementation seems to be extending beyond the boundary of the visible map, though I would hope that would be fixed later.

Yeah i was just about to say the same.... i really cant see the difference lol xD

New spell effects look nice but I think the lightning in the hurricane spell could be more prominent.

Yeah because for your Minor Glyph spot you'll totally be having a game changing glyph amirite? Oh wait...

That hurricane animation is so much better than the half and half old and new! Well done Blizz!

I'm impressed where wow is currently, but it feels like blizzard is late in delivering helpful changes. Like the the zone level, in my opinion, should have been implemented a long time ago to assist new players. I felt the addons to play wow was burdensome.

the glyph doesnt change the alpha of your character, just the alpha of the shadowform. doing so would make your whole character translucent, not just the shadowform.

The new hurricane animation is Nice
