Patch 4.3 now available on the Background Downloader

Anyone with the .torrent file, the patcher/downloader eats all my upload and the download goes nowhere, if I disable peer to peer, it's going nowhere too. So a .torrent would be nice.

This patch needs to go out like now.

Im betting the week before December 6th or December 6th, a lot of this patch is Darkmoon Faire and that's the last one for awhile.

6 months is the average, so I'm personally used to it by now.

I was one of those idiots who made a thread about it yesterday. XD Hadn't noticed a patch downloading before it was released until now.

@F-Minus have you tried making the downloader only download when you close the game? That's all i do so i dont get any lag effects while playing.

Q: I'm getting an "applying non-critical updates" message on the Launcher. What do I do?
A: Nothing. Just wait a few minutes and the message will disappear when it's done. The Launcher then will show text saying "Downloading Update".

Q: The tracker bar on the Launcher isn't displaying. Why is that?
A: An exclamation point surrounded by a yellow triangle will appear in the bottom-left corner when there appears to be an issue. Click on that button to bring up the downloader details. There is a dialogue area at the top of the new window where you'll be given an explanation for the ! icon being displayed.

Q: It says the tracker isn't responding and/or my computer appears to be behind a firewall. Help!
A: I had both of those errors myself, and I wasn't stopped from smoothly downloading all of the data. The only hitch for me was that I wasn't seeding any of the patch data. If your download is proceeding at a reasonable pace, I wouldn't worry much about those issues. If not, check the settings of any anti-virus or firewall software you're using to make sure that World of Warcraft is allowed. As for the tracker, I'm not very knowledgeable in that area. Sorry.

Q: The download is not auto-starting.
A: Go to your World of Warcraft folder and double-click on the file labeled "BackgroundDownloader.exe" (without the quote marks). Note: You may need to right-click the file and select "Run as Admin" depending on your circumstances.

I'd say two or three more weeks. Almost certainly within this month.

i think a month away would be a good timeline, 2 weeks seems too soon considering there is still stuff that hasn't been tested as well as tuning that needs to be done.

It's getting ever so tedious now waiting for this 4.3, raiding Firelands has become seriously dull so I pretty much stand around in org talking to guild mates ABOUT 4.3, C'mon blizzard. Hurry it up a bit yeah?

Guarenteed that the patch doesn't come out until November 29th at the earliest. Maybe it'll come out a week earlier but no earlier and no later than December 6th. Should be a fantastic time when it does come out though thats for sure!

I think one thing most people forget about when it comes to the PTR is that the normal is for them to bring down the PTR servers a week or so prior to patch day. Not to mention updating the build to a final RC copy. My prediction is the 29th of November, or 6th of December. They won't release it the week of Thanks Giving.

Right click -> save as or copy the link into your favourite downloader program. Then put in folders stated.

Then delete wow.mfil , wow.tfil and the launcher.wtf file in the WTF folder. Then open from the launcher and wait till it says World of Warcraft is up to date

Oopsie. Thanks for pointing out the oversight; I forgot that not everyone has an admin account.

Still not working right for me and I usually let the patch download itself from the launcher, but how do I do it from the BackgroundDownloader?
