Blizzard Store: Heart of the Aspects Mount now available

I think $25 for this mount is a tad high for a Store.blizzard mount. Though it does look nice.

Best mount ive seen so far...fits great my paladin Lawbringer set...full gold set..awsome..ill get it no matter how :X

I get why people are angry this mount is so cool yet any average joe can spend $25 and get it I understand people wish that It was a drop, or an achive. But look at this way, if you don't have epic flying then you can't have a dragon mount ( or any "cool" looking mount ) at least now your alts without epic flying will be able to fly around in style.

First off: why couldnt Tyraels charger look as good as this :PSecond: Be awesome if blizzard made a BOA rare-drop mount that visually changed depending on the riding skill. so like 20 ridin had a sort of chubby grounded version, 40 had a more fit and stronger looking grounded version, then 60 grows wings, 70 gets more streamlined, and master riding gets Bigger stronger looking wings, as well as even more streamlined and powerful looking.

I love the game, but i start to get the feeling the shareholders are entering a panic state regarding the number of players and people are getting milked as much as possible before the game falls flat and get unsupported. I guess 13€ a month by every single player just isnt enough no more.. We're steadily walking into a p2p game with premium content.

I have nothing against people that can and want to afford that mount, hell if i had a lot more money laying about id get all the mounts, cheetos and train tickets money could buy! It's corporate greed that i can't stand.

It isn't subjective. The point being made wasn't, "this game is failing!!!!" as your post implies. The point the poster was making is that... Well this game is pay to play. The one thing that separates pay to play from free to play is... The fact you pay to play all the content. But with WoW that just isn't possible. The whole appeal of a Pay to play game is that you pay, and have access to all content. Free to play they nickle and dime you to death. The common rule with f2p's is "free to play, pay to be good" unless its a private server. Thats just the facts. With wow, not only do you pay for rehashed content, but any NEW models for pets and mounts come from the blizz store. We pay for the content to be in the game, Not pay to USE the content while having to fork over MORE money to them to buy it. Yes, I know you dont. "have to have it" Thats not the point im making. The point Im making is that we pay to play the game and have access to all the content and we dont. As the second person I agreed with (avpaul) said people buying the mount promotes the devs to be lazy. Because why should they deliver new content, new raids, new dungeons to keep people paying and playing when they can easily milk out almost 2 months worth of subs with a new pretty mount that people just line up to buy. Blizzard is milking it for all its worth because they know the state of the game is crashing, proof of that is losing 100k subs in the biggest "sales" time of the year while also losing OVER 59m in diablo sales. That isn't subjective. Thats exactly how it is.

Almost 2 million subs lost in a 12m+ population isn't exactly Miniscule. People are leaving for a reason. Yeah they are business folks and they wont stop doing this anytime soon. Not while theirs a little milk left in the tit.. But we pay to play. Not pay to be nickle and dime'd. After a while people will start retaliating, they'll do it by taking their money elsewhere and its already started to happen. blizzard can either continue and wow will crash, or they can fix it. But honestly I think its a litle late in the game for them to be able to fix it. Vanity or not. We pay to play, yet all resources get spent on more mounts for the blizz store vs actual content to justify our subscription fee.

It's certainly a very unique looking mount, with great animations but what exactly does it have to do with the Aspects.

Is there any lore to this new mount, as it looks more like a Chinese Dragon than a traditional Warcraft Dragon. Perhaps the Aspects will somehow be linked to the Pandaren.
