Theramore's Fall, the first of many Scenarios coming to World of Warcraft, is a story-changing event that will be available to level-85 characters for one week only -- the week leading up to the launch of Mists of Pandaria on September 25.

For the duration of the week of September 17-24, level-85 characters will be able to queue up for and participate in the Alliance and Horde versions of this new Scenario with two friends. (Please note: if friends are not available to you at the time, two will be provided. Batteries not included. Subject to change. Void where prohibited.)

After the lifting of the mists, Theramore's Fall will join all other Scenarios as level-90-only content, and everyone -- including players who missed it at level 85 -- will be able to play through the event. Upon completing the Scenario for the first time, players will see the aftermath of the battle whenever visiting Theramore in Dustwallow Marsh. Theramore will eventually be changed permanently to its post-battle state in a future patch, sometime after the launch of Mists of Pandaria, whether or not players have completed the Scenario.

Not sure if it has been posted yet but does anyone no exactly when the scenario will become available

Will it be tuesday 12am? like a world event or will it be after maintenance so Wednesday morning in my timezone ...

For US servers it will be unlocked today in the afternoon.

If all scenarios are like this that's just embarrassing, this was so underwhelming, it's unbelievably bad really. 2012.

Okay fine, Theramore was never meant to be a launch event.
For me then, it's just a distraction for the masses to not form the singular critical important thought that there simply wasn't a launch event!! And that is simply shit.

The "didn't want to spend time on something that would be only available for 2 weeks (1 week?)" argument is very nice. But then why didnt you make something more amazing and better that could have acted as a teaser that would still be available after launch?

This is murky marketing shit. I still want to believe that it's simply because they're shifting more workpower into Titan or other future projects. But I wish the community would eventually reach a breaking point in discontent, so that to warrant a price cut or something.

I will happiliest put my own words in my gullet and gulp them all down, if just MoP and its future patches give the slightest feeling of delivering. It should be at least better than the Cata-patches. For me, 4.3 was a quality low that simply doesnt deserve the money that paid Ulduar couple years earlier.

I thought it was pretty fun. Scenarios will be really fun while leveling with friends. WoW needs more content like this that caters to casual players. I'm not very hardcore myself and my friends who play with me even less. They all left when Cata launched because basic content like dungeons and heroics was way too hard.

So stuff like scenarios, pet battles, easy dungeons, moderately difficult heroics really help. also, i noticed people socialize and talk way more in scenarios because there is no "blame game" with healers and tanks and people are just having FUN!

And I also understand why the Theramore scenario is happening. One of them was a fun way to blow an afternoon. One of them was a nuisance every time I tried to go to a capitol city. (No flying then, so I just had to run around with the flaming bastards everywhere).

The same could be said for mighty Blizzard defenders coming back in thread after thread regardless of whether criticism is justified or not.

Agreed. For example, I remember in vanila those elite quests in Arathi Highlands, a wandering giant and summoning of a giant lady - nothing to it, done at intended level and it was easy plus, mind you, we were clueless noobs running around having fun and it really wasn't even remotely hard.
