The queue page said 8% left when my turn to buy arrived. But then it jumped from 8% available to Sold Out

Taking the time to enter a quantity before you click "add to cart" pretty much guarantees you won't get a good position in queue.
Blizzard should probably remove that drop down in future years because it's basically a trap lol

I swear Blizz uses RNG for ticket sales... I clicked EXACTLY at 10am and ZERO seconds and was #11400... didn't Blizzcon have over 26000 in attendance last year?? I should have gotten one... and I was only buying ONE ticket so I should have had the jump on those buying more than one.... UNLESS they cater to people that purchase more than one at a time.. at any rate I still call bullshit... *raises fists to the air in defiance*.....*does some quick math* so... in actuality, all the tickets were sold out within LESS than a second... *disregards inaccurate queue size and time*

Given that 50% of the tickets were sold a few days ago and people can buy up to 4 tickets at once, I'll let you do the math :P

I got in the queue at just over 5000, got to 90 in the queue, and it went from 7% to sold out. Would have been my first Blizzcon too, maybe next year. Just a bit of a kick to get so close, but no cigar.

13k / 4 = 4250 sales at minimum 13k at most, most likely it's somewhere around the mid, which means if you are above 6000 in q, you won't get any.

Another year of watching from home. I shall be comfortable, paying far less, and able to recount the events for a week after they take place. Sounds good to me.

I wouldn't be surprised if they sold less than 26k tickets this time around. Blizzcon 2011 had a ridiculous situation where the fire marshalls came in and closed off sections of the con for being above capacity, namely the main hall during the Foo Fighters concert. Yet this same hall held close to that the day before during the opening ceremonies..

Anyways, 4th Blizzcon in a row. Good luck next year, friends.
