Blizzard Trademarks "Corgis Unleashed" (Okay, not really)

then maybe it has been submitted and its the real deal for the dark below....I hope it is....but until its under blizzards official pending trademarks I wont hold my breath

He gave us a screenshot, The Dark Below application is a legit application on a .gov website.

Wouldn't blizz just come out and say "That's fake guys" if it wasn't real? It wouldn't surprise me if the Corgi thing was just done to make the expac one look fake, Because it protects the expac & has a bit of fun

I have a feeling that they didnt want attention on Expac V just yet, and they sliped on TDB yesterday. Hence now ''sites'' claim it as hoax'' to calm the masses and put attention on Diablo.

After Mists of Pandaria it sounds legit that Corgis Unleashed will be the next xpac.

We're still at the same point we were at yesterday. "The Dark Below" still may or may not be the next WoW expansion.

The only thing that has changed is that MMOC has demonstrated that any idiot with free time and a wish to troll tens of thousands of people can file a fake application without paying money or any other kind of vetting process. Corgis Unleashed is fake. It was filled by MMOC to demonstrate how easy it is to falsify a trademark application. It was meant to prove a point, and it did.

This means that The Dark Below may or may not be a real thing actually filed by Blizz. Since it was filed before this information was made widely known as it is at this moment, it still stands to reason that it's probably legit, at least to some extent.

It also means woe unto us if The Dark Below *isn't* genuine. Because now there will probably be a wave of fake applications sent in Blizz's name by various trolls. So when the *real* thing does finally come along (if TBD isn't real) then we'll have no fucking clue what to make of it.

This changes nothing. Given the timing of trademark applications for MoP and Cata, even if The Dark Below is a hoax, the real trademark would likely have to be filed soon. My bet is that it's still the real deal though.

Except that can probably take quite a while. Which would make sense if TBD was real, it would be registered in time for Blizzcon.

basically I actually think its real BUT the possibility is that it could be fake.....so essentially, legion fans got super depressed when the story broke....then got pre-excited at the hoax.....just to be destroyed again.....it's rather entertaining to see
