It's time to end the fun party we've been having for the past 24H. As it turns out, it's pretty easy to add whatever the hell you want on a .gov website. According to this new page, Blizzard just trademarked Corgis Unleashed, a game that according to our sources would kind of look like this.

Edit: Apparently the original news was too subtle, the "Corgis Unleashed" trademark was registered this morning for fun, as it turns out, there is absolutely no check and anyone can register something under Blizzard's name. This is an application, not a confirmation, you don't even need to pay the $275 application fee.


We probably jumped on the bandwagon a little early and I spent the past 24H double checking stuff since it was basically everywhere, I guess today is just not the day. Sorry guys, going to call the whole The Dark Below thing a hoax.

    Wow, just wow.
    Even a basic look at the logo font will show how borked that fake video title was. Not to mention getting the title *wrong*, and all the other problems. Yet people still accept it!

    Just goes to show how easy it is to dupe people into believing falsehoods. I'm not saying that "The Dark Below" isn't the expansion title. It very well may be. But there were people on this board claiming 100% certainty that it must be true, and one guy betting his whole house, family, etc. on it. And the evidence was easily fakeable.

    If nothing else, this has been a good experiment to show how easy it is to start conspiracy theories.

    my point still stands that its always had azeroth in the background. ive never seen a logo without it. my last issue with this image is that this photo was taken with a cell phone so you wouldnt notice the imperfections in it from the photoshopping. if it was really legit the person would have taken a screenshot instead.

    The picture is fake indeed. But it must be said that the first iteration of it was very well done. Damn trolls and their photoshop skills.

    i know. i was just making another statement cause you know some people would think that since there's a somewhat logical explanation for there not being azeroth in the background that the image could be real.

    You think they would put that amount of effort into a hoax logo and accidentally put the wrong title in???

    Keep in mind any hoaxer would have started this yesterday...

    The very fact that this seems so "stupid" is exactly why i think it's true.

    Well I personally remember seeing 82-83 in the past, but I can't defend that as I have no picture. My only defense is that leaked picture.

    But I agree it would be a huge lead for sure.

    yes i do think a hoaxer would put that much effort into it and you are playing into his fantasy that this is actually real. they did such a good job to create a huge amount of controversy. also what does it matter when he started it? he may have started it this morning? what difference does that make? you have no idea how proficient that person is in photoshop. as for the wrong title...there are people out there that make mistakes. unless the announcement comes directly from blizzard you shouldnt believe it. if they wanted people to see that video then it would still be up.

    Eh, if it is really the expansion it would work to have the old god's eye or something else instead of the globe since this xpac, going by the possible title, would have us below the surface of Azeroth.

    Except hidden videos aren't added to that 73 total, as you can see it is hidden because of the lock icon in the picture, I'm not saying its real I'm just saying that your theory is incorrect that it would be 74.

    that would definitely be a first then. i looked through a lot of logo images and none of them have anything other than azeroth. the only one thats close is cataclysm...it has a burned azeroth. the burning crusade didnt have outland or anything related to the burning legion, wrath didnt have northrend or anything related to the lich king, and mists didnt have pandaria or anything related to garrosh. so i would think that the trend would continue and they would keep azeroth in the background. just my opinion though.
