Agreed. I'm sad to see him go but I'm happy for him not having to deal with the idiots that can't appreciate what a difficult job he had and all he'd done for the game. Good luck to him.

If he's the steadfast 'our data proves that nobody but me knows what anyone's talking about' person inside the company, this is a good change. If he was just the mouthpiece for someone else that's responsible for funneling the feedback into some useful product, then things won't change and people will still be ignored until there are big unsubs associated with the changes that go poorly despite community warnings.

I don't think much will change, because I don't really think he was ever speaking for the whole game development team and process, but who knows. Maybe now things will go back to Wrath style where the game was a whole lot of fun for everyone. Maybe it's too late for the next expansion and another 2-3 mil will unsub and the game will quickly shift to F2P with the fun in-game store, who knows?

Funny how people belive that this will change everything, same group of people making the calls to nerf classes and stuff are still there, only thing it will change is that they have to pick a new guy to be the one to take all the crap.

I don't know if this is a bad thing or a good thing. I don't like seeing people leave Blizzard so I see it as a bad thing. I just hope the next expansion will go well and whoever replaces Ghostcrawler knows what they are doing, heh.

This "everyone's a winner!" bullshit is a disease. More games that cleanse themselves of it the better. Ruined the feel of reward when I was a kid playing soccer. It late years its crawled in to video games.

Ghostcrawler did a lot of good and bad things for this game. Hopefully we will see better changes now. I feel like this is sort of like a coaching change for a sports team.

Who will people blame now for the things they don't like that wasn't Ghostcrawler's fault in the first place?!
