Ghostcrawler to leave Blizzard Entertainment
Ghostcrawler announced this morning on Facebook that he will be leaving Blizzard Entertainment to pursue a "great opportunity for something new and exciting". I don't usually share my opinions in news post, so there's a tweet with my full thoughts on the subject.

    I like this post.

If you can never see failure how can you ever appreciate victory.

And don't those announcements usually come from the company, not the individual =P

Steady shot was nerfed because arrow damage was rolled into bow damage and arrows were removed from the game and with the exception of Thoridal in Sunwell, Steady Shot had never taken arrow damage into account before. Please, get over yourself already. It was 6 years ago and there are much more drastic problems with the game today than your perceived slight over a completely logical nerf.

What could he be moving on to? One would think Lead Systems Designer for WoW at Blizzard would be a dream for most professionals in that industry. Something seems a little fishy about this.

He'll be missed and I'm thankful for his contribution to the game and community.

    Cya GC

Gives me something else to be thankful for this Thanksgiving!!...or more to the point, my alts.

I'm a serious altoholic, so seeing someone leave who has no understanding of why ppl love alts receives a huge thumbs up from me!!

Hopefully, whoever takes the reigns, won't still have their head firmly implanted in GC's brown eye!!

You should probably look for victory as a life allegory in things that matter (not WoW).

Were is this never fail content ? Cause I sure as hell haven't seen anything like it. LOL Even LFR fails A LOT and that is the extremely forgiving content. LOL

Look what happened with Jay Wilson, he wasn't fired, he left on his "own" accord, or so they say.
this is 100 percent true but at the same time you let them leave quietly not with blue post announcements and co-worker anecdotes. Now no one here will ever likely know what happened but the unless blizzard does things differently than alot of similar companies with these kinds of things this reads as more him leaving than them firing at least to me. and yeah Jay wilson wasn't fired just reassigned.

I wonder where this will go, to me it feels both bad and good for the game. Loved the man as a person.

I suspect he got sick of the hate, don't get me wrong he was a good team member for blizzard but his decisions really hurt the game especially when it came to deciding what to balance etc, here is hoping they pull a Diablo 3 and bring in someone that will apply the right changes to the game and hopefully move WoW forward into keeping it an awesome game. Blizzcon 2013 was fantasic for WOW huge following and vibe compared to blizzcon when MOP was announced so hopefully all of this will lead to the better. Good luck GC.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised. GC must have put in notice that he would be leaving, right? Maybe that's where Jay Wilson was reassigned?

GC has been training him this whole time.

When the game was released it started to decline? So when it gained almost 13m subscribers that was declining?

I love Kalgan, and all, but i preferred GC as systems lead, because it was more innovation and less living in the old.

lets look at the pieces of the puzzle:

-pieces of gear with random stats

    -GC resigns

-jay wilson mysteriously absent, seemingly no role in reaper of souls

do the math. although I hope im wrong.

WoW never had 13m subscribers. The premise of your argument is fallacious.
