People saying that getting a character that you need to level through the new content is pay to win really have some sort of head trauma.

Buying a lvl 100 with full heroic raiding gear or full season 16 gear would be pay to win for sure. Thats not going to happen for WoD or any time soon.

It's funny how he points out that people will be able to buy a huge advantage over others and you guys come out of the corner and start harassing and insulting him for it. The fact that you people are refusing to acknowledge that just skipping all the leveling from 1-90 is a huge advantage is mind boggling. This will have a negative impact on the leveling experience, it will empty out the world even more, it will impact how fast and willing people are going to be about rerolling FOTM for PvP, it will impact how many professions they can have, it will impact how Blizzard is going to treat the leveling speed and exp nerfs in the future and offers A DIREKT ADVANTAGE IN GAME which is the pure definition of P2W.
Selling high end chars with full gear is only the most extreme form of P2W, actual ingame advantages which this is already count and are nasty enough.

Mr. Apple is right and you're wrong. Even a paid boost to 90 is NOT P2W. P2W is improving your character over others in the current content. There is none of that here. It just enables alts or even new players to join right in and compete without having the daunting slog through 90 levels to get up to speed. I know all about this since I have been playing for 8 years and have always had only one max level character. This feature will bring more new people in. I know my ladyfriend here has said numerous times that she might like to start playing but not if she had to go through all that to catch up to where I am. There is no element of P2W involved.

Exactly. Funny enough, people have been "paying to win" in this game for years (usually through gold, but sometimes not) by paying to be carried through raids for gear or paying to be boosted to Glad in Arena or paying for GM runs...but somehow this is the thing you people say is "slippery slope"...paying for a character that can't even do any of those things.
