I expect a lot of QQ if there's no queue, and overall website instability, people trying to complete the payment process and seeing its sold out or didn't process properly because of the site getting hammered. With the queue, you knew you were guaranteed the ticket or not and didn't have to rush to fill in all your information

I guess it's an "event" ticketing service so they probably prepare themselves somehow. I wonder if EventBrite has done anything of this scale

That has me concerned as well. Here's to hoping that Blizzard informed them of how insanely crazy it's going to be, and that they're prepared for it.

Going to guess Starcraft 2 Protoss campaign details at blizzcon this year. That's what I'm personally hoping for anyway.

I would love to get over for a Blizzcon at some point, also take in a Ducks game while I'm there.

It costs a lot of money sadly

This was my first impression as well. I certainly hope not. I'm hoping they'll show off what the rest of the expansion has in store with 6.1 and beyond (since we'll be a couple months into launch by then please god). And the movie trailer better drop!

Here's an idea : Have Blizzcon in another damn city once in a while , that is all.

And half the ticket go to ebay, this will be a fun blizzcon I bet good thing I have no interest in travailing cross the country for it.

That would cost them more money they are not in it to SPEND money they are in it to MAKE more cause having a pay to play WoW MMO WITH a cash shop isn't enough.

I would love to go but $199? Jeez, I'll wait for Virtual Ticket once again.

People being angry over companies earning money. Good times.

Highly unlikely since they scrapped it just early last year to start over. Titan at this point should be recognized as "nonexistant" until we actually see something.

They would be "making money" if the tickets were 50bucks a piece, but as is the Blizzard custom, they turn everything into a money grab in hopes of cashing in as much as possible before WoW becomes irrelevant to the mass consumer.

They already said, they found way to make it work, reworked bones and Titan is once again in full development stage. So there is a good chance, something could be finally to see

Anyway..Blizzard has more games than ever before - SC, WoW, Diablo, HS, HotS, Titan and at least one unannounced game...plus movie.. there is tons of possibilities for nex Blizzcon

They could actually invite some of the leading guilds and have them go for worlds firsts live at BlizzCon...

Except that they said every time they do one it's a net loss. They lose money doing blizzcon even after all the tickets and swag that is sold. but it's worth it because they know the fans have fun. and the devs too.

    Bzzt.

They have said that Blizzcon is operating at a loss, but the promotional aspects make up for that.

Hmm... i can't see them doing a live raid unless WoD is out by a milestone (2-3 months). This wishful thinking is going to get me killed

they should split Blizzcon into Blizzcon West Blizzcon East .... i live on the east coast would love to go, i am however not wanting to pay to fly , hotel etc.... why not have it at the same time in 2 locations

for example west coasters have it in its original spot and for the east coasters have it in like atlanta or something. that way it opens more options for those of us who rather just drive 2-10hrs rather than spend 2k a year for room and board and tickets.

Then don't go... there's countless of people who can not go or do not want to spend the money, i.e. from Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania, you name it. It would cost me round ~$4000-5000 to go there, that's why I'm not going. But if anything at all, they should try to visit other parts of the world with the convention, if they want to make it easier for people.

Hell yes, so it's still happening this year I wonder if that means that they'll have a couple of special announcements to make or not. As they skipped BlizzCon 2012 because there wasn't anything/enough to announce.
