Considering the content gap and lack of annual pass, I'm pretty surprised. Guess they did something right with this latest tier of content to keep the masses entertained for so long even through an ICC-length period of raiding.

Hmm...Q2 call in August should be even more interesting.

WoW is a dying game, every expansion is just Copy and Paste content... this is why FFXIV is the best MMO on the market atm

Entirely negligible loss. Nothing to see here.

    Still impressive number.

    Way to go WoW.

Will continue to drop until the next expansion hits, as always

This shouldn't be considered shocking or even surprising, this pattern is repeated every time near the end of the current expansion and content gap

I was right about a loss... didn't expect it to be that low though

Eh, Q1 had boosts and presales. Q2 & Q3 will be where the real drop happens, once SoO gets stale for the returning and boosted people.

200k is nothing at all, I expected 800-1m losses.

Yep, been dying since Vanilla, obviously...

So relatively stable over the past few quarters. Will most likely drop a bit lower still until WoD as normal for the end of expansion.

Like everyone knew. The huge losses a couple years ago were from china because of the new F2P that launched there. Revenues have always been good, and now that WOW has shed all those cheap internet cafe ´subscribers´.. things are much more steady. WOW never lost 3M ´subscribers´.. what they lost were 3M people who were paying $1 per month.

Also. ATVI beat estimates for earnings, tomorrow is going to be a good day!
