Warforged Nightmare - Available Now In-Game Through the Shop

Hah, this must be a joke. Did I time travel to 1st April somehow? ALL MMOs would kill to have the subs this game has, the amount of services they have that most people have at least used once or twice. The amount of games they have made that are success. Oh and lets not forget the billions after billions blizzard has made from WoW subs alone, and more billions to come. Can't you at least stop putting mounts for sale on the stupid store? This is getting ridiculous.

All the mounts we get ingame are either fugly or Raid/PvP exclusive, and they make sure to reuse each model at least 15-20 times. Look at shitty MMO games with like 10 players, they can make way cooler mounts then Blizzard does, and they don't even charge half as much as Blizzard does.

If WoW would be f2p I would understand, but seriously? I'm paying you enough, I've payed you enough and I want my mounts as an in-game reward. I want hard earned achievements that reward cool mounts, profession mounts that don't take xx days to complete, but you gotta be willingly to spend A LOT of gold or waste A LOT of time farming.

IMO only thing that should be on the store should be games and some irl stuff like teddy bears or fancy tshirts. Not stuff we should get rewarded though playing the game. All mounts, pets, cosmetics etc should be rewarded for playing the god damn game. Not work irl to pay you even more. Damn, what happened to Blizzard, they're more greedy than uncle scrooge, literally.

Calling Blizzard greedy is just silly, Do you need this mount to play better or improve your gameplay ? Nope

It is optional and if you cannot afford it, its fine. Price can be high for some yet some people will buy it.

It is just the same story with cars , clothings and food. If you can afford it you can ride a mercedes benz or you can ride a toyota. It is all about choice and money.

In the end every company is greedy by their nature. They want to maximize their profits. You may like it or you may curse everytime when a mercedes on the street or and be jealous of that friend of yours that has a full razer , steelseries set.

Or you can grow up and accept the world as it is.

Is it only available in-game? Because the in-game store doesn't work if you only have a Paypal attached to your account.

Mercedes Benz costs thousands and most people can't afford it. Most people could buy this mount a 100 times if they wanted, it's the principle, not everyone is jealous because they can't afford it...

30$? Blizzard please,I'd much rather pay 2 months of WoW than that.

Well if I'd have a game like that and see that a mount my designers created is selling like weed, I'd try to keep those coming in so people can spend the money since there seems to be demand for those, who not deliver to those. Apart from that consider the amount of work put into this - animation is not new, sounds appear to be new - so its essentially a new model, new spell effects and a completely new item mechanic with the post. I can imagine this being done in between projects.

It's not about the company wanting more money. It's the company, we all pay TONS of money to. Just literally pulls their pants down and have a diarrhea on your face.

We all know all companies are greedy, but this is taking greedy to the next level, or even the next level after that.

I'm not sure, but I would think me spending 15$ a month, for the last what, 8 years? I've taken a break every now and then so lets say 5 years of active subs since I started. That's around 1000$ only on subs. I've transferred a few times, changed race and whatnot. Spent money on the game it self+expansions. Deluxe of MoP+WoD. And you're telling me, it's fair for them to just sell their mounts on the store? At least offer the mount for free to those who have been playing since freaking forever and helped them be who they are today. Without us the old players, WoW would be nothing. Yet they don't give a SHIT about us. They only and I mean ONLY want us to pay more and more. They're so greedy,they would walk upto a dying person, instead of helping him they would ask him where the 10$ he owes them are. THAT'S how greedy they are.

Well they clearly they give a shit, people buy these mounts and therefore new mounts will be created. No matter what they'd do, somebody would complain. A "Thank you" for paying for their services? Where to start with that, would you have been a paying customer for X amount of time, would you have been registered with Blizzard for X amount of time - in all scenarios you would not give something to somebody and therefore somebody would complain. If you pay for something on your own free will, you must like it. If you EXPECT more than what you're paying for, that's really your problem and if Blizzard doesn't give in to your demands, again your problem (although it becomes Blizzards problem, should you stop paying them) but in the end one has to vote with their wallets, how else would you get feedback as such a big company from millions and millions of customers of various kinds, in the front the loudest of them all complaining like Blizz started to cut off peoples limbs.

People are too invested into this whole thing - got a new mount in the shop and you dont like it? Great, no money for Blizzard! Got a new mount but impossible for you to achieve due to various circumstances? Well that might annoy you or it might not - Blizzard is not out there to destroy you or intentionally malicious, they are simply making money as it is the case with every company.

I'm sure it probably didn't take more then one person to make this. So many people act like the whole developement team and all of Blizzard came together to make a mount.

It's based off the Swift Windsteed skeleton, and has the forsaken mount look just remodeled to look metal.

If you don't want it, don't buy it, people.

As for me, I bought it. People waste money on smoking, drinking, eating more food then required, buying real life things they don't need and hardly use. This is no different. It's not needed and if anyone wishes to spend their money they worked for on it, so let them.

So... no content for months, and no content to come for several more, AND when that content comes you'll have to pay for it (because it's an expansion..) at an also increased from usual price. All the while, those still playing have to dish out 15$ a month.
What does Blizzard do? Release a new mount to the store! better yet, they also hiked the price up to 30$.

Good job Blizzard, you're really earning WoW's title as "biggest cash-cow in the industry".

Exactly, like Umchilly wrote it appears people would expect any given Cigarette manufacturer and whatnot to provide loyalty gifts - I don't see this any different, it's for entertainment purposes and it's certainly not personal.
