Garrison Campaign Quests Active
Garrison Campaign quests are now active and the one you get each week appears to be random.

One option you may get is from Khadgar's Servant in your garrison, which sends you to Shadowmoon Valley for a short quest chain that rewards Sargerei Disguise (which is not a Toy).

Oh come on. How are they going to predict 2.5 million subs are going to come back? They made a prediction, they allocated enough resources for it, and then a ton more people then expected signed up. Servers were locked for a few days, big deal. Things are fine now and regardless of what you guys post on here, you'll likely sign right back up anyways.

Damn, 10 year old sub based game puts up xpac increase numbers that most games would kill for at launch.

First time in almost four years that I happily talk to others about WoW, and it's because of WoD. I initially *hated* the boost to 90 idea but have seen about a dozen players in my guild return for the first time since WoTLK/Cata and use the boost to get right back into the swing of things. This is exactly what WoW needed, at exactly the right time. Here's to another 10+ years of fun!

Honestly? I had a few issues, but I understood it was launch, and was okay with it. Now that I know they had such a huge influx of players, I'm even more okay with it. Now the game works great, and they even refunded the time for the laggy days.

If you liked the look/feel of the game, go ahead and retry it, because so far at least, this expac is amazing and you should give it a try again.

Easy fix. Move to Asia, pay by hour played. Have fun & good luck!

"you know trial accounts count as subs right? "

No they don't. Read the press release about this, it clearly states what does and does not count.

    Your loss. lol

The server issues are settling down now and the expansion has been the best since Wrath and might even be the very best.

Can't really blame blizzard, generally companies have a fairly big margin based on supply of the previous similar event.
(It really depends from company to company but generally it's between 150-200%. Rarely do they go higher than that).

WoD was pretty much 3x of what MoP brought in, and I think that's very rare to happen, I mean did you expect it?
(Going by the sub chart over the past 10 years, there's not even been a peak remotely close to it).

Companies aren't gonna boost their supply/(capacity in this case) by 3 times, just to meet the initial demand.

That's far too costly and it could backfire.. so they stick to the standard capacity calculations.

Then there's also the thing, what if a big faction came back on launch day, there's no way to anticipate that.

Since you seem to think WOTLK was any good in comparison to vanilla/TBC I know I’m not missing anything good.

    A few issues? .. lol

Preventing the majority of your player base on multiple servers from playing isn't a “few issues”.

Looking forward to seeing what WoD did to Wildstar's numbers. I bet a lot of former-WoW, current Wildstar, players dropped it in order to return to WoW.

The gains from MoP compared to WoD is laughable.
