WoW Up to 10 Million Subscribers
This afternoon Blizzard released the subscribers count as of November 13, 2014. This is up 2.6 million from the Q3 2014 call that listed WoW at 7.4 million subscribers.

Warlords of Draenor has sold over 3.3 million copies so far, up from 1.5 million pre-ordered in August.

Garrison Campaign Quests Active
Garrison Campaign quests are now active and the one you get each week appears to be random.

One option you may get is from Khadgar's Servant in your garrison, which sends you to Shadowmoon Valley for a short quest chain that rewards Sargerei Disguise (which is not a Toy).

And if blizzard had not done the "free" mounts, the 7 day free game time and so on it would have only increased by 0.5-1 million, but blizzard is masters of inflating numbers to make the investors happy, blizzard when from quality to just "tricking" (advertising i know, but some call it tricking) higher numbers.

Also, there is literally less than 10 people on my server in wod, no matter where i go, and 10 million and still there is like so many dead servers?, guess all of them are just hanging out on non dead servers.

But hey, congrats to blizzard to getting the old people back with this expansion, too bad it is as shit as cata and mop, the newer more casual players however will most likely just go on their merry way soon.

How did blizzard get 3 mil after 14 months of 1 raid?, man people must love paying for no content in this genre!

Marketing team did a good job.

In a year we'll see if the content is good enough to hold the subs. Aside from never having to leave your garrison, the game feels exactly like Cataclysm to me. If it's just that wind mechanic on every boss on the first raid, it's all ogre for me. Hope it'll be good.

Shocking: the sub based game has fewer subs than the free game has players.

So there's something around 6.7 million subscribers who don't have and aren't playing Warlords of Draenor (since they say they've only sold 3.3 million copies of the expansion)?

Also, I like how they set the date of the report on November 13th, not a few days after when people ended their subscriptions out of frustration.

Only problem is now we are getting even more wide nights defending all the bad decisions blizzard will make.

Fetterlein, people saying WoW is dying is stupid, however it is a shit game since cata, mop and now WoD. the good thing is they got the facebook people to play, you know the garrison and pet battles and shit.

It is truly depressing that some players think that this is a cause for celebration when, still, a week on, the game is less than fully playable.

Expected a jump, but that's huge.

It's really impressive, 10years old yet still can attract that many players, obviously there's always a big jump at the start of expansions and then they slowly decline again, but still impressive

Asia doesn't buy the new expansion though, do they?

For those who say that it'll go downhill in three months... Look at the numbers again. Never in the history of wow has such a curve happened. This is happening for real: Wow is back.

EDIT: And I can't wait to see what asia will do with the amount of subscribers.

    B. Current subscribers upgraded and 3 million people returned to play MoP.

Think about it. I'm calling bullshit.
If I were you, I would call the SEC then. Since they are a publicly traded company - it is kinda illegal to cook the books.

Well, it feels really good to play WoW as a game it originally was made to be. Good-bye pandas, hope to never encounter you again. As a vanilla player who played all expansions, WOD for me competes with TBC in the list of best expansions. MOP was just a blasphemy, an abomination.

That free week of game play was from the previous quarter. Which ended in September. Try harder next time.

Most people don't adapt easily, check the mop, cataclysm and wrath initial sales on first day of launch, they are generally in the 3-4 million area aswell.
