Update (8:00 PM EST): According to the official post, all US and EU emails have gone out.
Update: Added official information. EU emails are starting to go out. There are a few reports of players getting one with small lapses in their subscription.

Gift to Veteran Players: Orc Wolf Rider Mini-Statue
The first people have started receiving their veteran gifts! The statue is an orc riding a wolf; it is a miniature version of the one located outside the Blizzard HQ. Credit to @thebl4ckd0g for the picture of the statue itself and Smitti for the picture of the inscription on the base.

Anniversary Gift

Emails have been sent to North America and Oceanic players to their registered address, which will include shipment tracking info. Our players in Europe will receive a similar email, and their shipments are expected to begin in the next few weeks.

If you're an NA region player (US, Canada, Oceania, Latin America) the receipt of an email is confirmation that you met the criteria to receive an Anniversary celebration gift. Emails have not yet begun to be sent out to our European players, but we'll start sending them soon. Shipment of the gift to EU players will begin in the next few weeks.

Criteria required to receive the gift:
  • Started playing WoW within 60 days of the game launch in your region
  • A continuous subscription for all 10 years, from launch to the Anniversary

We're thankful for everyone that chooses to spend time in Azeroth with us, and hope that this small token of appreciation expresses our gratitude to those few of you that have achieved the incredible milestone of playing World of Warcraft for all these 10 years.

[Update] All notification emails have been sent to NA and EU region recipients.

These gifts have been sent to the physical address associated with eligible Battle.net accounts. To be eligible for this gift, a player must have created a World of Warcraft account within 60 days of the game launching in the NA or EU regions, and maintained their subscription or game time for all ten years.

Eligible players in the North American region, along with eligible Oceanic players, have been sent tracking information for the gift. Eligible players in Europe will receive tracking information when their gift ships later this month. If the shipping address on that email is incorrect, you will need to contact us with your updated information.

So only America and Europe gets this? Do I not get it because I'm in Canada? I've been subbed since Day 1 with zero lapses... Pretty stupid if I don't get it! I mean how many countries are in Europe!? I NEED THIS!

So can the people who received one confirm 100% that you need a completely uninterrupted sub since 60 or less day from release?

The problem is that right now there are lot of conflicting and unconfirmed rumors abound that basically boil down to "you had to be registered for 10 years without any lapse in subscription to get the gift".
If that is true, it would mean that there are a shit ton of people that played for ages and will never receive anything, because they unsubscribed for a month or two due to illness, personal circumstances, monetary situations, or, you know, the game having not new content for almost a year.

Look at the statue on the first page. Look at the statue on the ebay listing. They are different sizes, weights, and have a different base: meaning they are, in fact, different statues and not just "leftovers". *scandalous gasp*

Yeah, easily over $2,000 here, played since second half of vanilla, well over 10k hours of life wasted, I'm sure I'm not getting a fig.

It's like your Uncle visited and only bought a Christmas gift for your brother.

It would be interesting to see exactly how many people qualify for this. 10 years of complete/unbroken payments? That is a huge task. I love me some WoW but even I had to take small breaks here and there.

Its a replica of their official statue... its a thank you for being loyal to Blizzard, not the horde. Plenty of Alliance players can appreciate Blizzard without being butthurt over factions. Grow up.

So suddenly now because you're not getting a free statue, every moment you've spent in WoW has been wasted? *rolls eyes*

If you were 7 years old this comparison might work. I am assuming you are at least 10.. so grow a pair already.

There is a big difference between the two. The employee gift statue is about 25 pounds compared to the 7 pound one they gave to players.

Cheapen what? The priceless sentimental value of an item you got for free for loyalty? Seriously guys, this was a free gift. Something as a reward. For doing nothing. How can you honestly complain about something like that?

I'll send you my mailing address and you can COD yours to me. That is if you're getting one.

I only missed it by three years! Grrr! I'm so upset at this gesture that doesn't include everyone who ever played. Ever. Blizzard needs to mail out 10 million of these.

    Did I do it right?

No one wants to be given a christmas gift from someone that got it the year before and didn't want it so they repacked it and gave it to you.
