Alright, can we like, elect someone from the community to write the lore books from now on? Because whoever is doing the writing at a Blizz these days is just plain bad at their job. Lets just pretend Cata and WoD never happens.

Then during this expansion the twisting nether is part of all dimension. Ok, so how is he alive? If he was not destroyed in WC3, why is he destroyed now? Why is his body just laying there? It should explode and go back to the nether or die if he did die, like in WC3/Battle of mount hyjal.

Then the next step is, well Sargeras had to convert KJ and Arch in every dimension... OK fine, but if the nether is linked to every freaking dimension. Why not just use those thousands of KJ and Arch at once in a single dimension? i mean guldan summoned him so easily, why not summon 10 of them? Probably because it doesent work like that and sargeras only has one of each at his disposal. Fine, so why is archimonde alive after WC3 and why is he dead now?

Blizzard doesent have the chops to write fucking time travel/multi dimension. Few people have, even fucking star trek writters failed 50% of the time when playing with those. Either they were brilliant episodes or total junk. Stick to your simple formula like SC2/WC3/D3. Bad guy is coming, everyone fight each other, unite, fight bad guy, go back to fighting. Its all blizzard could ever muster in story telling and this expansion makes it clear why. They have no real writer for anything complex. It is fine i enjoy a stupid story like star craft / warcraft or diablo, not everything needs to be a puzzle story. Sometime you just need some dumb action.
You're mixing so many different elements together, plus you don't know how to use a contraction. Either way, there's more that needs to be discussed about their recent comment on demons. Speculation on that point really won't do any good right now. Also, Arch's body in WC3 didn't just go away. His bones were on the tree for years until the druids cleaned the area up.

Indeed a pretty disappointing ending........... Archimonde looked cool though stepping through the portal showing his immense size.

My thoughts are that since Kadgar thinks "this was only the beginning" and knowing Blizzards hesitation with finishing off "important" lore characters I think (and again, this is based only on my own interpretations alone) is that since Archimonde said "Guldan, you made a pact" (meaning they are "bound" together somehow) that Archimonde "transferred" his "consciousness" into Guldan and then "returned" to the Twisting Nether to come back if we ever get another Burning Legion like (incl. Sargaras) expansion.

Again, these are just my random thoughts...

Right, let the fans write the story cause you don't like where the story is going. Not everyone agrees with you, and just because people cry on the internet doesn't mean you actually have a lot of people that feel the same way you do. You guys just cry a lot and loudly.

So, now it's Gul'dan's turn to become the Lich King?

But what the fuck is with that ending? Grom started the whole war and they are about to start singing and dancing. Lorewise this makes no sense. It feels like they have certain goals and they don't care about the path that gets them to those goals anymore....

Ingame his bones were only present when Hyjal was not reachable by players. They forgot that in wc3 he explodes, there are no bones he literally just bust up in flames. In WoW battle of mount hyjal cavern of time, he also explodes. So they remembered he left no bones behind. There is no speculation, they didnt know what the hell do to with it. Twisting nether can link all dismensions without having thousands of Archimonde and KJ running around? If theres only 1 of each, once they die they are dead and if they dont die, the "go back to the nether" death needs to be consistent.

    Cool bones.

No. They said "We still have more story to tell". Stupid people interpreted that as "This is not the last raid patch of WoD."

Also, what got me into WoW was the story. The story has gone really downhill since I started in Cata.

Grom goes nuts/betrays/gets corrupted, they flip the script, Boom! Surprise to all the naysayers and they get their wow moment for the expansion. who wants to bet on it?

Is it weird that I think the Chinese dubs sounds better for those characters?

Time wise it doesent even make sense. Blizzcon would be when the next content patch would land. But it wont be, because its been one year for their new expansion plan. What puzzles me with you guys, believing in another raid tier, is that we were told there was only gona be 2 raid tier for their 1 year per expac to work.. Do you guys kinda blank that one from your minds?

My biggest complaint - Grom is alive and breathing at the end instead of having his head on a pike as punishment for attempted genocide and for attempting to invade Azeroth.

There is a difference in story taking a turn thats disliked, and one that is being written badly.

    Think of Eddward Stark's death.

Death by decapitation, vs death by tripping over his shoelaces and falling down a long flight of stairs to his death.
Both have the outcome of him being dead, but one serves a purpose for setting arks in motion and painting a vivid picture of character to come in the show/book.

However, thats not to say dying for a cause gives a free pass. Look at Kairoz, all that build up and mystery, and then just gets killed off instantly after being used. Using characters purely as a plot device is a pretty big tell of bad writing. You need to fully flesh out character, what do they do, why do they do what they do, and what do they think on the entire matter at hand.
You need have the reader/player invested. For all intents and purposes, Kairoz could have been replaced with a magic horn that brought back all the orc warlords from the dead. (Then we at least wouldn't have do deal with this "Legion transcends all realities" non-sense.)

The fight didn't even happen yet and there is already a video of the end? This fight is more fixed than Sham vs Slice :P

The final cinematic ending with an anti-climactic "this is just the beginning" is like watching the SuperBowl end in a tie.

I'm hoping that the AU will be the setting for Warcraft 4 and the MU will be the setting for WoW.

I mean... something good has to come from all this, right?

Its unbelievable what they did to the lore in the last years. The storytelling has reached a new low.

Archimonde and Gul'dan are the true winners in all of this, they get to leave this miserable expansion.

Guldan made a pact, so he was teleported to the Twisting Nether where he can be torn apart and put together a hundred times, then turned into a new "pure" Lich King forcing us to reveal MU Lich King still remains and Bolvar commands the MU undead against the new Scourge on our behalf?

    Retread storylines HOOOOOOOOO!

It sure seems like they set up for AU Guldan to get all Lich King'd again.

Again? Ner'zul is the lich king. Not Gul'dan.
