Patch 6.2.2 - Terky
Patch 6.2.2 changed Terky to be obtainable from White Murloc Egg. Up until now, the egg was only for a promotion in Asia (Redeem iCoke Prize Voucher). A user on Reddit claims to have found it a few weeks ago, and thanks to some EU forum posters we have the location!

You can grab the Terky by going to Riplash Ruins in Borean Tundra, heading down into an underwater passage into a cave, and exiting into an underwater cave that has the egg. Be sure to use the Magic Pet Mirror and with Terky for some extra fun!

    No one is gonna comment why the dailies are in the alliance map instead of a neutral one? PvP realms with call to arms pop is really fun. I'm already outnumbered by every man for himself, now this.

    1% drop rate on the Coin of Many Faces? So my RNG luck decided to give me that rather than a rare drop mount, gear, or something else truly interesting or useful. No, I got a toy.

    In other news, are the pets spawned by the Creepy Crawler doodad always grey quality? Ran around my garrison this morning checking them out and the ones that weren't blocked by obstacles (which was most of them) were all grey quality.

    I could catch some green pets and even a blue spider yesterday. You possibly just have had bad luck.

    I also hate the zone selection, even on a PvE server. Alliance just have to drop out of their garrisons, while as Hordie, you have to cross the whole world... The most funny thing is, I got the quest from an orc woman. Yeah, there are some orc exciles in that area, but... meh. Horde should have had similar quests in their starting zone.

    If you find a grey, just forfeit and kill the pet. It will respawn instantly and you can try again. Once you find a rare one, go heal up at the menagerie and come back to get it.

    As far as I could tell, the new pets are ONLY the primary pet (and never in the backline) so if you get a rare of one, you can just go ahead and kill the spawn until what you want shows up.

    Took about 45 minutes but I got all 3 rares this way (plus a nice SS rare rat that was in the backline).

    Um...built in speed boost? There's no built in speed boost on that mount. All mounts have the same speed and have for years now.

    I was thinking it was elsewhere, but either way that's been in the game since WoD beta (prob alpha) so yeah it's going on Year 2 (3 if you count Beta/Alpha).

    A lot of positive news (like Terky!) and finally some new stuff for Hallows End. Yet there are people who find this ocasion to whine and cry how bad everything is. I wonder if Blizzard has been tagged as this poor kid who always takes the blame for everything and is bullied by everyone. I just feel bad for them because I personally like Hallow End stuff...and who cares its 1% chance on this or that. Items with tiny drop chance are not made to be farmed (yet some choose to farm and complain if this method doesnt work), they are more an additional flavour, extra motivation to do things more than once. They make whole Hallows End more attractive even to those who have been doing it for years now and got all the grind obtainable items already.

    Yeah it's kinda lame that they added a 1/1 copy of Lurky to the game (Terky was added in patch 2.4 btw which means he has been in the game for ~7 years but 3 patches after Lurky)

    Who wants to bet that Terky wasn't meant to be in the game seriously, but one blizzard dev snuck it in to see if people would get it. Now its out in open, the other devs will remove it and either fire or penalize the one who made it available.

    Well, you'll probably kill 15-20 of the enemies that can drop it every day. That makes it about a 20% chance to get it each day, or a more or less guaranteed drop by the time the event is over.

    Got the coin on my very first kill, has a day long cooldown or some shit like that.

    And I'm surprising myself and actually participating in Hallow's End this year. Like the decorations for the Garrisons and the new dailies. Looking forward to the Winter's Veil event since it seems to have tons of decorations, and also hoping for nice new dailies!

    Ya, I guess I dont fully appreciate being able to say in trade "lulz got it on first kill". Talk about satisfaction ... that must be epic.

    There is a sweet idea for a new in game toy ... a satisfaction wheel or dice. you roll/spin it and you get stacks of "Satisfaction" buff. 'Cause nothing satisfies more than RNG.
