Battle.Net Voice Chat
It looks like Voice Chat might be coming to the Battle.Net client. An upcoming build has references to Vivox, a company that produces voice chat for games. It is in use already in Eve, World of Tanks, The Elder Scrolls Online, H1Z1, Star Trek Online, Second Life, and many other games. As always, this is just a possibility and nothing is guaranteed! Sometimes features are planned but just don't work out.

Blizzcon - Engineering Panel Update
It looks like Virtual Ticket viewers won't get to see the Engineering Panel after all.

Poll - Voice Chat
Assuming it works as well as it does in the other games that already have integrated it, would you use Battle.Net voice chat?

If it works cross games, then it is a pretty great idea

Completely forgot they added one into WoW at one point. When was it removed? I don't think I ever noticed it was gone because the only point I noticed it existed was the day it got implemented.

some people got older and don't have the need to install voice software after the last time they installed windows.

i'd rather use a built-in voice function for all my blizzard games since i only really play those. bonus: it is always active in the battle.net app, so i don't have to stay in a game. good thing imho.

You need a sub to use the WoW app. Battle.net would be for all your friends on it, playing or not, and right now almost none plays WoW thanks for the terrible expansion. So yea, I would like that app for mobiles for chatting. And no, I don't use facebook, and even if I did, I probably would not have everyone there anyway.

I hope the voicechat is good. I'll always prefer the option that means "Less running software", and B.Net gotta run anyway. Might as well VC it!

A built in voice chat would be excellent if they are able to keep it stable and at a good level of quality. Not having to log on skype / vent / TS3 and instead having a common platform would be awesome.

hm voice chat in blizzard games, i dunno sometimes ppl are super pjsalt and games liek heroes and overwatch will have alot younger audiance than wow, which dosent seem useful in wow since we have free good voice chat systems.

Awesome, would be cool to have built in voice chat so we don't have to pay for vent. Oh wait, that's what I said in TBC when they added voice chat to WoW... Well at least this can't be any worse lol.

As long as it can be turned off easily I don't really care too much about a bnet voice chat.

I can't wait to hear LFR chat.

Also lol at appear offline. I remember that flat out lie. I also remember them deleting threads asking what happened to it. Almost like it was still happening.

well i had to vote no, since i dont play WoW. But i acutally think it's a really important/nice feature for overwatch, and probably also useful for heroes of the storm (esp. in hero league)
