Unless you can link vids directly into the chat I will probably still use discord though.
But I get their reasoning for it though, it's not like people aren't running the program, adding additional functionality to it is a good idea. But unless it's better than alternative programs I cant see people actually using it, no matter how many people it fits in one channel.
People are already using other systems like vent or Ts. It is systems most people knows, and therefore uses. I seriously doubt anyone will be using this new old feature.
A voice program for only blizzard games will not work.
But.. I hope I will be proven wrong, hate to say something negative about new stuff...
So perhaps I should say something like "lets rely on the feedback, and see if this isn't going to be good"
"Great News Everyone!! I have created a software not to be used by more than half of the playerbase ".

Voice Chat - The new Voice Chat feature is now available in game. Players will need to go into the options menu under Sound & Voice to activate it. Volume sliders are available for the microphone, speakers, and game-audio fade (which automatically lowers the game audio when a voice communication is received), as is a “push-to-talk” setting. Right-clicking on a player’s name now includes the option to mute or unmute that player. Muting another player blocks all voice chat from him or her; the ignore feature now blocks both voice chat and text chat from that player.
I dont know why they keep trying to make this voice chat work? I have not yet heard of a game, which ingame voice has been a succes and not just a storm of yelling trolls and racists. There are still a lot of ingame programs who needs a rework much more then the voice chat.
.... Like, who is even asking for this? We already have Teamspeak, Ventrilo, Large skype calls and now Discord. While updating the ingame voice chat is always a good thing, im not gonna complain about getting a new ingame tool, but i really dont think it is needed. So many guilds have already a TS/Vent servers set up and they are working very good.
Without any ingame moderation of the voice chat, i dont see it being used by many teams.
Not gunna lie the Voice Chat is the same one from Overwatch & isn't terrible like the old voice chat was.
