Week 1 - Get Prepared!


Blizzard has given us some beta keys to help you prepare for The Legion! This week you will need to kill Illidan to enter the contest.

  • This giveaway is for 500 US/EU Legion Beta keys!
  • To enter kill Illidan between May 19 and May 29 and then log in to the contest site.
  • You will need to log in with your Battle.Net account (It's safe!) so that we can confirm the kill.
  • You can be sure that you are entered by checking the contest status page.
  • The status page is updated daily, but as long as you kill Illidan between May 19 and 30 your entry will count.
  • Only one entry per account, no matter how many times you kill Illidan.
  • Winners will be selected on May 30
  • You will need to check back to see if you have won and claim your key.
  • Winners will have 72 hours to view their key. After that another winner will be selected.

    You may not want to deal with bugs or be spoiled, but after WoD, I want to get a feel for Legion before plopping down $50+ on what could potentially be another piece of crap product. I'll take the bugs just to get a chance to get a feel for the expansion and decide if it's worth the money or if I'll be sitting Legion out. I have little interest in spending $50 for Legion on top of the subscription only to find I hate the expansion.

    Require us to have an active WoW account during the worst content drought in the game's history... Sigh... No thanks, not resubbing for a chance at a beta key.

    cool, last night I was bored, so I downed him on my Warrior, it was after midnight so it counted. Woot. Sadly only my hunter has ever gotten the cool drop.

    Wait we have to kill Illidan for a chance at a beta key?! Last time I fought Illidan, he and Akama were locked in an eternal stalemate (Akama's health reset to full whenever he was about to die) and I had to get a GM to move my body to Stormwind.

    This completely.

    I don't want to pay for content from now until I decide if I'm going to get Legion.

    I want in the beta, but not bad enough to re-activate.

    Do we get extra chances for the amount of characters we kill him on?

    feel same way wont paid gold/money to active my account to try a demo, can't believe ppl would paid 10= on a beta key from 3rd party website...

    I wish i could give away my Beta access, as i'm not playing.

    I got it last week and i'm not even sure why, as i opted out for WoW Betas over 4 years ago.

    Because Blizzard doesn't know how to beta invite.
