Dungeons and Raids
(All dungeon and raid hotfixes will take effect with realm restarts in each region.)

Trial of Valor

Odyn
  • Reduced the damage of Shatter by 25% on all difficulties.
  • Reduced the damage of Stormforged Spear's tank hit by 25% on all difficulties.
  • Reduced Odyn's health by 10% on all difficulties.
  • Reduced Hyrja and Hymdall's health by 20% on all difficulties.
  • Hymdall and Hyrja now once again leave the arena at 85% on Heroic difficulty during Stage 2.

Guarm
  • Reduced Health by 10% on all difficulties.
  • Reduced damage dealt by Headlong Charge by 10% on all difficulties. This change does not apply to Trample.
  • Reduced damage dealt by Flame Lick on impact on Mythic difficulty by 5%.

Helya
  • Reduced the health of Bilewater Slime, Night Watch Mariner, and Helya by 10% and Grimelord by 15% in the Helya encounter in Trial of Valor on all difficulties.
  • Reduced the number of Taint of the Sea debuffs applied to players on Mythic difficulty by 1.
  • Reduced the damage of Tainted Explosion on all difficulties.

Holiday Updates
  • The Feast of Winter Veil Achievement "BB King" now only requires players to pelt three faction leaders to complete.

    We had 3 debuffs on Helya this week with 10 people. They definitely need to fix that, it sucks bringing a third healer just for a dispel. We have no Locks and a Spriest whom can't make all the raids (works away from home occasionally). We're not struggling with much else other than the fact this is forcing us to essentially bring more people in off-specs than we would want, and it sucks for them too since we do that or we don't raid.

    I don't think they want "breakpoints" again like in SoO. IIRC you got less stuff with 14 people rather than 15.

    Because the rewards were out of sync with the level of challenge it presented. Even with the limited amount of time it takes to complete the available raids, I'm hard pressed to find a reason to do ToV N/H rather than EN on the next higher level of difficulty. Or keystones.

    Big design flaw then once again. It's pretty hilarious how the hardest content gets nerfed fast for the sake of nowadays half decent raiders can clear content.
    This game is infested with handholding addons, and on top of that it receives nerfs whenever not more than 50 guilds killed something... I get it they want to prevent burnout and sub loss, that's why the raids and patches are flying out like crazy atm. Hardcore raiding outside the top 10-15 is DEAD.

    Because clearly people can't do it and we have a new raid coming very soon. No point having a raid harder than Nighthold out that gives zero useful upgrades.

    Personally I'd have been fine without the nerfs but they can't keep the debuff numbers the same at low player raids. Sick of running more healers than we actually need just for a dispel.

    We killed Odyn M last night as a 7/7M guild.
    EN was undertuned and ToV overtuned.

    proving they knew from day 1 ToV was overtuned to the sky - this is really dick move.

    Odyn got ravaged, Guarm dps requirement is trivial (but will still require the same execution with cross-colors) and Helya (the only boss that actually required it) got slightly nerfed. People will still take shadow priests for the mass dispel so it won't change much in that regard, but the reduced explosion dmg is well nerfed imo, p1 was absolutely insane for most guilds.
