Patch 7.2 - WoW Tier 20 Armor Set Models

Priest, Rogue, Warlock and Warrior are cool.
The rest... not so much

Mentioned it on Twitter but Mythic DH and Mythic Monk are incredible. So much effort put into those two sets.

Remember when blizz put effort into tier sets? Pepperidge Farm remembers.

So ... Tier 20 is just updated Tier 6? Am I seeing the right pictures?

Those are probably for the pvp sets. The epic pvp gear are recolors of Tier sets. (S1 and S2 of legion's being T19 for example). So bad luck most likely

DH: a robe? No thanks.

DK: meh, a bit too plain for me.

Monk: 10/10 would wear all the time. Best set of this tier, and best Monk set.

Rest looks OK, a bit too copy-pasted from T6 sets IMO. Warriors and Warlocks gained from the transition, others not so much.

These are all Tier 6 remodels... And tbh some of them even look worse.

edit: Well, except the new classes ofc.

Why does everyone sound so suprised that these are Tier 6 remodels? This has been common knowledge for a LONG time. Heaps of people were desperate for the old tier 6 stuff to be updated, and instead Blizz did this. And honestly they pretty much all look sick. Rather than "this looks shit" i'd like to hear some constructive criticism on which look bad and why.

one thing to get tier 6 updated from vendor/texture update.. another thing to use a NEW tier to update a few pixels.

Nothing wrong with bringing back tier 6.

It's a nice nostalgic trip for me, except for monk/dk/dh of course :P

Reminder that this is barely into PTR, by the way. Some of them are obviously not finished yet (like the paladin and mage sets look pretty bland all over right now). Looking forward to see them fully rendered.

To be fair, if you think it's just a "few pixels" updated, you really need to check back at what the sets looked like previously.
