Gamescom - Blizzard Reveal Ceremony
Ion confirmed that all they will be talking about is Patch 7.3. Shadows of Argus releases on August 29th!

  • The fate of our world and all worlds hangs in the balance.
  • Argus has a story heavy epic experience, spanning three regions, including a new dungeon.
  • More world quests, missions, and artifact changes are coming.
  • A rift links our world to Argus, the homeworld of the Legion. We have an opportunity to strike and defeat them now.
  • You land at Krokun first, meeting the Army of the Light. They have been fighting the Legion across the galaxy.
  • We will meet new types of demons, stronger than demons we have seen ever before. Pit Lord spawning grounds, and more.
  • Mac'Aree, the Jewel of Argus, is next. It is mostly intact, reflecting the old civilization that was here long ago. The Seat of the Triumvirate dungeon is also located here.
  • Invasion Points allow you to travel to other worlds to defeat the Legion, giving us a glimpse of worlds all over the galaxy that we have never seen.

Hearthstone
A series of animated shorts and comics are coming, featuring the characters in this short!

Overwatch
A new cinematic short has been released!

Heroes of the Storm
Part of a multi-part documentary will release next week that demonstrates how much work goes into creating a new hero.

That is probably what they hate the most, in that they can't stand a company creating games and what not, for a younger audience because it makes them feel so insecure or something like that..

Precisely Blizzard would be foolish to reveal everything and then have nothing for Blizzcon..

Holy smokes Gamescom has been a major flop in terms of game news. Recore Definitive Edition announcement was the big one by Microsoft lol. EA announced nothing new. Blizzard says they have a major announcement to make and it's just patch 7.3, which is crazy that a 7.x patch would be teased as a major announcement.

I'm sure it's a fun conference for those that attended, and I knew it's no E3, but still expected more than this. The only thing even modestly newsworthy was XB1X preorders opening, and that could have been done anytime outside of a conference.

Problem is, they didnt reveal anything. There was more information to be had at their preview this monday, the overwatch short could just've gone up on youtube.

It was a wasted presentation that they called "Blizzards biggest gamescon yet" .... I mean dont hold a presentation when all you have is minor stuff, show it off of course, but dont hype it up like this.

    Well I did not expect an entire Expansion Reveal or something like that, but (BUT!) I expected more;

    - More WoW related stuff, perhaps some new Artifact skins (they did say they're done creating them, but does this also mean they've put every one of them ingame?).
They could have unveiled another intermediate raid like Trial of Valor or another patch after Argus.

Can't precisely say WHAT I expected but todays reveal felt a bit lackluster.
This was all know weeks before Gamescom, Bellular pumped out videos to cover every single bit of the known 7.3 stutt better than a fire truck.
The trailer was kinda neat, have to give 'em that.

To be honest, I wished for an expansion teaser.

    - More Overwatch stuff, like others said at least SHOW the god damn map when you're presenting it.

    - More HotS stuff, perhaps by showing different skins for KT or other heroes instead of teasing some of them.

This being said I think Blizzcon this year will have some things to offer.
The reveal of a new WoW expansion is kinda set in stone, but maybe we are about to be surprised with SC3, WC4, D4, another new franchise, another movie, heck only they know for sure what's going to be there. (Probably not even all of them)

Guys, we are talking about GAMES. Some of us are grown adults. We play it to have fun. Now pull out those stakes from your bums and just chill out. You will not lose any masculinity point if you enjoy a silly animation for once or heavens, all the time.

So you wanted them to tell about some other raid even though they have one unpublished raid? C'mon if you spend your time watching all the youtubers who make content out of ptr then you prolly shouldn't be suprised about the gamescom. Its not blizzards fault that people are making money out of spoiling every single ptr patch to their followers.

What a crying group! These videos were gorgeous and I'm sufficiently hyped for Blizzcon.

The great lie of the remaining WoW players is that the younger generation is somehow ruining the game.

Please be prepared to back that up with even a shred of relevant data or kindly... shut your damn mouth.

Lets set this to rest like right fucking here and now kids/teens are NOT playing this game anymore. The game's ever dwindling presence is due precisely to that fact. I just so happen to work with college age kids, and my wife works with high school age kids. They don't play... WoW is not cool, it is not current. They aren't the least bit interested. Period.

OT: I found that Hearthstone video quite fun and enjoyable and the pink haired gnome was adorable..
You don't really know what you're talking about, you're just throwing up random things you've heard on Breibart, aren't you? dolt.

Precisely, GAMES, they showed movies. No real new stuff, I'm not butthurt over what kind of animation it was, couldnt care less.

But it was a pointless presentation, they showed nothing and tried to present it as something awesome.

sooooo help me out, what you guiys want from Gamescom??? the convention is know bc they normally dont announce games the just show the game-play of the game announce at E3.

If you fallow PTR, youtube and MMOCHAMP what where you expecting??? a super secret raid/dungeons/zone that they didnt test????????.

Really i fail to see what is everyone QQ about.

And then the Hearthstone cinematic. What is the issue??? of curse the target a younger audience help if they just focus the already own audience is a horrible campaign.
In another note, literally the Cinematic team can just tell Pixar to go fuck themselves.
