With the BlizzCon 2017 Virtual Ticket, you’ll unlock access to live coverage of all four stages of developer events and community content, including the Legendary, Mythic, Epic, and Heroic stages. You’ll also be able to watch this year’s BlizzCon All Access Channel, which will act as your tour guide through all the big moments taking place at the show.

The Virtual Ticket also unlocks access to VODs from the All Access Channel and the four content stages, so viewers can go back and revisit events they might have missed. And for the first time, we’re excited to be able to provide localized versions of these VODs, along with our weekly pre-show videos, subtitled in French, German, Russian, and Korean!

As always, you can catch Friday’s opening ceremony and all the tournament action on this year’s five esports stages FREE here on www.blizzcon.com.

Attention attendees! If you’re joining us in person in Anaheim, this year’s opening ceremony will be spread across more than one stage throughout the show. The live presentation will be jumping between stages as our developers show you what we’ve been working—stay tuned for more information on where you’ll want to seek out a seat. And of course, everything will be broadcast on screens and stages throughout the convention hall.

Pretty smart of Blizzard to distract the "Is Hanzo x McCree canon?" crowd with a Powerful Women talk. Maybe this year there'll be actually interesting questions.

It'll be an ultra bandwidth info-burst piped directly into your cerebellum.

Oh wait, no, it's gone into maintenance mode. But, hey, necromancers!

Because there's nothing next. That's it. It's dead.
    Only spinoffs remain.

    Blizzard Social - What's Next 23:30 - 00:30
what can you be announcing for an hour apart from "appear offline"?
  1. JohnnyMccrum's Avatar
WoW going first and taking main stage maybe means this expansion is pretty big.

If I remember correctly Legion was announced at Gamescom, which was the first time they did something like that (I'm so glad they're not doing it again)

the deep dive is always after an expansion announce, nothing new there, just more details about the expansion.

So we're getting an expansion, that's great news. No leaks though.

A while back, they were hiring writers under the team name of The Crucible, who would be writing for all of Blizzard's franchises. (They replaced Metzen with a team) It will be interesting if this is who is giving the talk, and who's on the team.

"Voices of Blizzard - The Powerful Women of Warcraft"

But why? Where's the "powerful men of Warcraft"? Why be sexist by discriminating and EXCLUDING the other sex?

The only really interesting thing is Starcraft II is getting a "What's next" panel, while Diablo 3 doesn't. So Starcraft II is still being developed? I honestly thought it was in maintenance mode. Starcraft III incoming?

    Also - no costume contest?

    Blizzcon 2017 Diablo 3 panel:
    Blizz devs: "You guys excited?!"
    Audience:"YEAAH!!!"
Blizz devs: We got some good news! But not this time! See you guys in 2018!"*Blizz devs exit the scene*

Repeat this next year, and so on.
