The Antorus, the Burning Throne raid in World of Warcraft was added to the game data in Patch 7.3, and released in November 2017. Antorus, the Burning Throne has eleven bosses that drop item level 915 (LFR), 930 (Normal), 945 (Heroic), 960 (Mythic) loot, except for Argus the Unmaker, who drops loot 10 item levels higher.

Lore

All of Azeroth's oldest, most powerful enemies, foes that have persisted across time, space, 13 years, and six expansions, now lay vanquished. But there is still one more great and terrible threat left: Sargeras, Lord of the Burning Legion. It is unknown if we'll ever come face to face with the titan himself, but with the release of Antorus, the Burning Throne, we'll get the closest we've ever been to Azeroth's greatest enemy.

The Burning Throne lies in wait on Argus, once the homeworld of Velen and the draenei. Sargeras, in disguise, tempted the eredar leaders Kil'jaeden and Archimonde to hand over the planet in exchange for power beyond comprehension. Driven by greed, the fallen eredar accepted Sargeras's dark bargain and became his greatest lieutenants.

Agrus then became the staging ground for all of the Legion's many conquests, home to the worst and most powerful of the Legion's demons. The very ones you'll encounter at the heart of the world: the Burning Throne.

Antorus is also home (or prison) to several of Sargeras's titan brethren, kept under torture by his Coven of Shivarra, their power siphoned off and used to strengthen the Legion. But before Sargeras became his brothers' brutal keeper, he was once a noble being of the Pantheon, an alliance of all powerful titans dedicated to the nuture, protection, and awakening of dormant titans in the form of world-souls.

Sargeras was responsible for protecting the worlds of the cosmos and the world souls contained within them from the mysterious void lords.

The titan, tasked with eliminating these lords of darkness and destruction, grew more and more discouraged, convinced the void lords and their corruption could never be defeated and that the only true way to accomplish his task was to purge the entire universe of life. The other titans of the Pantheon strongly disagreed, beginning a war Sargeras would eventually win. He captured the defeated titans and either destroyed them or corrupted them into his tortured puppets.

Norgannon, Keeper of Magic. Golganneth, Lord of the Sea and Sky. Khaz'goroth, Shaper and Forger of Worlds. All fell into Sargeras's clutches. Only Eonar, the Life Binder, escaped, remaining hidden for eons until now, her sanctuary under attack from the Legion during the assault on the Burning Throne. Even Aggramar, his former friend and fiercest ally would become nothing more than his thrall in the end, and penultimate boss of the Burning Throne.

Once Saregeras's machines of war, his loyal hounds, his lieutenants, and his best hunters are defeated, the greatest enemy yet remains: the corrupted world soul of Argus itself. Argus the Unmaker is the last threat challengers of the Burning Throne will face, and one of the greatest powers in the universe. Greater than the dragonflights, than the Old Gods, than the Keepers and the Observers and the Scourge. Defeat him and the Legion will crumble. Defeat him if Sargeras is present and the Legion might crumble... forever.
