Upcoming PvP Tuning Changes

Hi all,

Tomorrow (January 30th) we plan to apply a few PvP-focused tuning changes via hotfix. Details below.

Druid (Forums / Skills / Talent Calculator / Artifact Calculator / PvP Talent Calculator)
  • Balance
    • PvP template Versatility reduced by 15%
    • PvP template Intellect reduced by 2%
  • Feral
    • Earthen Grasp now has a 15 second cooldown, up from 10 seconds
    • King of the Jungle increases movement speed and damage by 3%, down from 4%

Hunter (Forums / Skills / Talent Calculator / Artifact Calculator / PvP Talent Calculator)
  • Beast Mastery
    • PvP template Agility increased by 3%
  • Marksmanship
    • PvP template Agility decreased by 1.5%

Mage (Forums / Skills / Talent Calculator / Artifact Calculator / PvP Talent Calculator)
  • Arcane
    • PvP template Intellect reduced by 2%
    • Arcane Power now increases damage by 25% in PvP situations, down from 30%

Monk (Forums / Skills / Talent Calculator / Artifact Calculator / PvP Talent Calculator)
  • Windwalker
    • PvP template Agility reduced by 2.5%

Paladin (Forums / Skills / Talent Calculator / Artifact Calculator / PvP Talent Calculator)
  • Holy
    • Pure of Heart now removes 1 poison and 1 disease effect from the target, instead of all poison and disease effects
  • Protection
    • PvP template Versatility reduced by 25%

Priest (Forums / Skills / Talent Calculator / Artifact Calculator / PvP Talent Calculator)
  • Holy
    • PvP template Intellect increased by 3%
    • Renew heals for an additional 75% in PvP situations, down from an additional 100%
    • Rapid Mending increases the range of Prayer of Mending by 10 yards, down from 20 yards
    • Ray of Hope now only increases healing caused by the casting Priest by 50%, rather than all incoming healing on the target

Rogue (Forums / Skills / Talent Calculator / Artifact Calculator / PvP Talent Calculator)
  • Assassination
    • PvP template Agility reduced by 2.5%
  • Subtlety
    • PvP template Agility reduced by 3%

Shaman (Forums / Skills / Talent Calculator / Artifact Calculator / PvP Talent Calculator)
  • Elemental
    • PvP template Intellect reduced by 1.5%
    • Icefury increases the damage of Frost Shock by 250% in PvP situations, down from 300%

    All the things that need adjusting in pvp, and they nerf prot paladin...Not sure I get this one. Affliction needs to be tuned down and it's not uncommon to see blood dks with 100million dmg and healing in a single wsg. Ah well.

    havent you learned by now that the concept of legion is to leave the classes that are op and screw the ones that arent,

    kinda annoyed about the druid balance changes, Resto pvp for me from now on i guess.

    Would be nice if healing got toned down a bit. Also not entirely stoked about the ele nerf. :l

    Prot pallies needed tuning, they were broken in arena. Blood dks do that much damage from Death Chains and arent good in arena, aff locks are fine theyre squishy.

    Healing is fine, why would you nerf healing when most healers average 260k-300k sustained while most dps do 200k average? Be happy thats the only thing that happend to elly, theyre ridiculous rn.

    Why does pve never receive meaningful changes. What's the point of having auras for quick adjustments if they don't use it. I mean I am happy for pvpers that they somewhat get attention this addon (no idea if the changes are good or not but it's something at least I guess) but why are they so hesitent to make any changes in pve - the amount of data they have by now should be immense.

    They do changes that affects pve all the time.

    Wouldn't really call them fixing the bugs their patches caused meaningful class/balancing changes but ok.

    No different from the PvP changes really, neither PvE or PvP gets meaningful changes for the most part.

    Prot is the most OP spec in PvP!

    And you've come to this conclusion based on what? There is one high ranked prot paladin in NA and they are like 93rd or something.

    look at Noxxic max dps

    The differences between the last one and the first one is around 40% he/she does less dmg, this has nothing to do with balance or a will to balance classes.
    You can call it poor work work on a useless addon

    I agree. Prot is really OP.
