Battle for Azeroth Allied Races - Zandalari Trolls
The Zandalari Trolls are the original trolls of Azeroth residing on the continent of Zandalar. They have a rich history and a proud heritage. Zandalari society worships Loa, animal gods and protectors. They also have a bond with the many dinosaur species found on the planet. The Horde are seeking to gain the trust of this tall-standing race to counter Alliance aggression.
Unlocking the Zandalari Trolls
To unlock the ability to make a Zandalari Troll, the following achievements must be completed on one character on your account. Once done, you can make a Zandalari Troll on any server that you have a 110 character provided you have purchased Battle for Azeroth.
- Zandalari Empire - Earn Exalted status with the Zandalari Empire.
- Zandalar Forever! - Complete The Throne of Zuldazar, Secrets in the Sands, The Final Seal, The Dark Heart of Nazmir, and A Bargain of Blood on the continent of Zandalar.
- Tides of Vengeance - Complete the Tides of Vengeance war campaign.

- Embrace of the Loa
- Embrace of Krag'wa - Taking damage has a chance to grant you [ Greater of {300% of Spell Power} or {300% of Attack Power * pctD * (1 + 0)} ] additional Health and [ Greater of {50% of Spell Power} or {50% of Attack Power * pctD * (1 + 0)} ] Armor.
- Embrace of Kimbul - Your damaging abilities have a chance to cause the target to bleed for [ Greater of {66% of Spell Power} or {66% of Attack Power * pctD * (1 + 0)} * 3 ] over 6 sec. This effect stacks up to 3 times.
- Embrace of Bwonsamdi - Your damaging abilities have a chance to deal [ Greater of {66% of Spell Power} or {66% of Attack Power * pctD * (1 + 0)} ] Shadow damage and heal you for 100% of the damage done.
- Embrace of Paku - Your abilities have a chance to grant you 5% critical strike for 0 sec.
- Embrace of Gonk - Increase movement speed by 5%.
- Embrace of Akunda - Your healing abilities have a chance to heal their target for [ Greater of {50% of Spell Power} or {50% of Attack Power * pctD * (1 + 0)} ].
- City of Gold - Increases gold earned from creatures by 2%.
- Regeneratin' - 4 sec cast (Channeled), 1.5 min cooldown. Regenerate 25% of your maximum health every 1 sec.
- Pterrordax Swoop - 15 min cooldown, Reduces your falling speed for 2 min.
Embrace of the Loa Shrines
The Zandalari Troll racial ability Embrace of the Loa requires your Zandalari troll to use the ability in front of one of the Zandalari loa shrines around Dazar'alor. This grants you the buff of the loa and will remain until you replace it with another loa shrine. This activates a 5 day cooldown during which you cannot change the buff. You can talk to guards in Dazar'alor to get the specific shrine marked on the map.
Mounts
The Zandalari Troll racial mount is the Zandalari Direhorn. It is usable by all Horde races upon unlocking the Zandalari Troll Allied Race.
Heritage Armor
Leveling a Zandalari Troll to 110 will reward you with the Heritage of the Zandalari cosmetic armor.
