It flies? Then a guaranteed no from me. Otherwise I might'be considered it.

I think this one is fine for a store mount. It's a standalone mount that doesn't really take anything from the game, just like they said when they introduced the Celestial Steed. The Blizzcon mounts were fine for cash models too, iconic concept but at the same time not something you'd imagine being created naturally for in game content.

What sucks is when they take flagship expansion mounts and they place them in the store like they did in WoD. Rylaks mobs were everywhere and half the flight paths used them, but for the longest time if you wanted one your only option was the store. Even when they added a reskin, it was just one, and with an atypical funky palette. Same for Dread Ravens, Ravagers, Fairy Dragons, Bats... the moose was almost a store mount too.

I can't expect Blizzard not to put some mounts on the store because there's a demand for them from players, so I'm actually happy when it's something like this that doesn't look like it was obviously stolen away from a rep vendor.

And we once had a promotion that resulted in other regions (China included I believe) "having" to pay for the promo mount from their shop on top of sub fees.

    Life's not always fair.

Nobodies on forums thinking they're some sort of authority on what constitutes "bad business practices" are a hoot though!

I mean i could but i don't feel like and its much easier for me to pay the 25.00 and do things i enjoy in game. no knock on the players that do it though cause its an awesome option.

The dumbasses that buy store mounts are encouraging this crap. I cannot fathom - even if I had infinite money - purchasing a single mount in World of Warcraft for $25. There's such a thing as imprudence and frivolity no matter how wealthy you are.

I don't blame Blizzard, they're basically printing free money. It's you I hate, consumers. It's you.

Making a region pay more than the other, probably.

There is something creepy about this mount. Like a weird giant perky pug mixed with the Mogu mounts from MoP. This one falls to the bottom of the list of mounts to buy when I only have mounts to buy left before having all mounts. I'm yet to love a store mount outside the Fey Dragon and that is because it does cool color changing.

Yeah that mount doesn't look that great. Can't say I'll be purchasing it.

To be honest only few store mounts I have are Heart of the Aspects, Grinning Reaver, Celestial Steed and Winged Guardian. And those are the only 4 that I really wanted.

    Wait for discount, use gold?

Consumers consume dumber shit than ingame wow mounts all the time. Free market means you can buy what you want. I mean people gave money to Ross Perot's presidential campaigns both times.

I can’t say I’d ever buy a mount for 25 bucks but the fact that I can get it for gold makes me think I might as I never spend my gold.

It’s a dog pasted over a model used for about a thousand different mounts. I mean it’s not even a good remodelling job it looks awful.

It always does, doesn't it? And then there are threads claiming we on MMO C are all happy and only say good things about WoW

I mean, this is evidence that China is now the place they get the most subs from - so they want to incentivize them to keep playing during the next months of no-new-content. That being said, i have no idea if them Chinese farmers even care about mounts O_O
