Upcoming Event - Dark Nexus
The Deckard Cain PTR build that went out earlier this week contained a few extra goodies hinting at an upcoming Dark Nexus event. The gamefiles contain new skins, new mounts, and a couple of Carbot sprays. Additionally, a few textures and references for other content were added as well.
New Dark Nexus Alarak and Dark Nexus Gul'dan skins have been added.
Variants:
Description: In the forgotten darkness beyond reality, a new avatar of primordial power has been forged. This dark mirror of Alarak's malice and sadism seethes with contempt toward all of existence... including it's own.
Variants:
Description: The avatars of the Dark Nexus are twisted reflections of heroes and villains. While they may wear familiar guises, they are, in truth, chaos and hatred incarnate... an ancient evil that can only be bargained with: never controlled.
New Mounts
A Dark Nexus Manta and Dark Nexus Hound have been added.
Variants:
Description: Some creatures of the Dark Nexus defy both the laws of physics and the laws of biology. Some are also unexpectedly docile.
Variants:
Description: An amalgamation of bestial rage, the hounds of the Dark Nexus embody the most primal of predatory instincts. They are both savage and unrelenting.
New Bundle - Dark Nexus Bundle
This bundle is currently flagged as going live on 4/24/2018, but that may just be a date for the PTR.
New Carbot Sprays
Additional Content
Following last week's development update, the first signs of the upcoming loss forgiveness system were added to this PTR build. Textures for new Heroes Global Championship team banners were also added. No official information on how to obtain these has been released as of yet.
References to new Nexus Lord announcers also got added to the gamefiles.

Stutter Stepping 101
Tempo Storm's Kala, known in the Heroes community for his guides and coaching videos, has teamed up with Blizzard to provide an easy-to-follow tutorial on the concept of stutter stepping, which is one of the most important skills to learn early on in the game if you want to succeed and move up the ranks.
Warhead Junction PTR Boss Update
Some big changes for Warhead Junction made it onto the PTR server last night, as the Slime Boss is now a lot less slimey! Following a lot of critical feedback from casual and pro players alike, the developers have decided to make some drastic changes to the two boss camps on Warhead. Full reasoning behind the changes will be provided when the update moves to live servers early next week.
HGC Minute - Episode 8
Developer Lana Bachynski returns for this week's Heroes Global Championship recap and provides updates on how the various regions have progressed. What was this week's upset? Who is crowned MVP? Which team has qualified directly for the Mid-Season Brawl? Find out right here!

Account Suspensions
Following last week's development blog, Blizzard is now implementing the first part of the game improvements mentioned, starting out with improved account suspension tools. This should result in a vast increase of actions taken against accounts in violation of the terms of service.
