Update: Both US and EU Alliance players now have access to the Warfront.

Battle for Stromgarde Warfront Available for Alliance
The Alliance have completed the progress bar to launch The Battle for Stromgarde Warfront!

Alliance characters with an item level of 320 or higher can now queue for the 20 man PvE large scale scenario to fight for control of Arathi Highlands against the opposite faction AI.

Pick up the quest Warfront: The Battle for Stromgarde and complete the scenario for an item level 370 piece of gear! Warfronts award item level 340 loot baseline upon completion.

Alliance characters have 7 days to complete the Warfront before the Horde characters will be able to start to contribute resources to launch their Warfront!

It seems like doing them is mainly for your own rep hits and AP items. Does not seem worth spending a lot of money to do them all unless you are really hard up for 7th legion rep.

Kinda weird that it gets an announcement then when it isn't up at the same time.
We still have 5% to go and it hasn't moved 1% for over an hour.

Grow up. Tons of things work like that in life. Superbowl. Olympics. Blizzcon. Game of Thrones seasons. You name it.

Horde players whining about not being able to do Warfronts *AGAIN* when most Alliance players haven't gotten to do them even once.

    Asinine.

You can't afk a dungeon and win either though. Dungeons can be challenging, from what I understand Warfronts wouldn't be challenging even if it was 20 4 year olds doing them,

Those same 340s that will be replaced after a few keystones and normal uldir.
It basically did this... Horde was given iLevel 340 to start the game with. I mean in a couple hours they could have full 340+ gear. That means they were jamming mythics and pushing higher due to the welfare gearset. And getting better gear. This also means all their alts as well allowing for a greater raid diversity and flexibility. Raiding progression was skewed higher Horde than previous tiers.

Basically how Blizz now gives catchup mechanisms each patch... Horde was given one at the start of the game.

Yeah, I got confused with how they are presented in the dressing room (warfront T1 set is this season PVP T2)

What does the gear look like?

Is tier 3 obtainable from warfronts or is it only from high rank PvP?

    - T3 is "conquest points bar"

    I don't know about ranked 'cause I don't do them, but htye probably award T2 / T3
Not true, my conquest chest piece last week was definitely tier 2.

So, warfronts (BfS at least) are basically AV, minus the players. Zerg the bases.

    So engaging!

This is hands down the most blatantly alliance biased expansion ever released. You dont even have an argument against it

The contribution phase for both azerite and the health of professions is going to be much better as more war fronts get introduced. The warfront itself feels lacking, but I think the feature overall will get better as it plays out.

I think the feature has promise but it needs there to be multiple going so that they are rotating through fast enough that one should be available if you want to do one. Also probably should have some difficulty mode options for those wanting a more challenging experience.
