Battle for Dazar'alor - Opulence Crowns
By now you might have noticed players you come across might have unique crown models on their heads. This model can be acquired in the loot table of the Opulence boss in Battle for Dazar'alor. There is a drop for every armor type and a color for each raid difficulty! That is not where the fun ends, however.

  • The on use effect Pry Gem gives you a random gem that provides a buff and is usable for 20 hours before disappearing. After 20 hours you can spawn a new random gem.
    • Crackling Tourmaline - Use: Increases your Speed by 120 for 60 min. (60 sec cooldown)
    • Diamond of Sustenance - Use: Draw sustenance from the gem, restoring 166,688 health and 83,344 mana over 20 sec. If you spend at least 10 sec focusing on the gem you will become well fed, gaining 75 in a stat for 60 min. (1 sec cooldown)
    • Emerald of Vigor - Use: Restores 33,337 health. (60 sec cooldown)
    • Sapphire of Brilliance - Use: Increases all stats by 400 for 60 sec. (5 min cooldown)
    • Star Topaz - Use: Make a friendly player sparkle! (30 sec cooldown)
    • Sunset Amber - Use: Reduces a party member's size by 50% for 5 min. (30 sec cooldown)

    It's early, but I love how the poll has the LFR crown beating out both heroic and mythic.

    Look at them. I mean...that was a rather obvious result. If they would have added a 5th answer:"All of them are ugly."...guess which one would win then. ;-)

    Heroic, might have the Mythic one eventually but I literally got my crown from bonus rolling for some other piece.

    Browsing these forums one would think LFR would have zero representation.
    Actually, I like the LFR one the most appearance-wise...

    Lol.. I like how the crown in the model sits all the way up on the top of his head and hovers. Shouldn't it rest a bit closer to eye brows?

    ^ this. They sit wayyyy too high on the head. Crowns usually rest a little above the ears. This reminds me of a crown sitting on an egg at Easter.

    I only have the LFR crown so far but my fave tint is definitely Mythic. I love Blue and Silver together and it'll look great on my mage with the LFR recolour of the Chronomancer Regalia from Siege of Orgrimmar!

    I got my crown from an emissary loot box the first week the raid came out and didnt do the raid till 2 weeks later, had no idea it dropped there, the gems have been very useful tho...

    Also, DLC is really dumb today. I know they've had some hits lately and some misses... but yeah this one's just bad

    I find it poignant that so much of the video shows an orc running on foot. I think running on foot till 40 will, shall we say, "disincentivize" a great many people who try or think they want to play Classic, ESPECIALLY when they have to run on foot into the same densely packed area of mobs four times on quests.


    PS: I don't care about your mythical "community" and "get help" blah blah comments, it ain't gonna happen.

    I've been killing Oppulence since week 2 and that fucking crown still hasn't dropped for me.
    I'd love to get my hands on the Normal version, as it's gold.
    Ahh, there's always next week, I suppose.

    The song's really good but the amount of people I've seen demanding Classic be used to bring the live game back anywhere past Wrath makes me associate it with frustration, sadly.

    No it's written 75 but the buff is actually 100. Don't know if it was hotfixed or not, I'm using the mythic crown to craft my gem btw, but I dont think it matters. I'm BE too

    On a side note, I still don't understand why MMO-C still uses a male human model, the worst of all models, to show stuff... 90% of the gear is ugly on a human male

    I've the 3 crowns (nm, heroic, mythic). I got the crown on the first kill on each difficulty... Too bad I wont get the lfr version because I just dont wanna get all their diseases and derpness
