Overwatch - Storm Rising Event Announced

Tracer, Mercy, Genji and Winston.

That's a hell of a Dive.

Sounds cool, but they need to do a lot more of this kind of stuff. Or add in some story mode dlc thats beefy. Game is kind of stagnant.

The event seems cool enough, but I can't help but be a bit bummed 3 of the 4 characters are repeats. Maybe that's a bit nitpicky, but I can't be the only one tired of seeing Mercy, Genji and Tracer. Would be nice to see a Talon perspective Archive one day, add a bit more depth to them.

Putting Tracer in charge seems...odd. Mercy has more experience and a much more level head. Nothing previously has indicated that Tracer has any sort of leadership capabilities or even has an interest in a command role. Unless things go terribly in this operation, which is specifically why Tracer never shows any further interest in that kind of thing.

Edit: I wonder if this is somehow related to the animated trailer we had for Doomfist, since that also featured Tracer, Winston, and Genji?

Isn't that short set in Numbani?

While this event seems to take place in Cuba.

Maybe the events in the upcoming mission are what eventually lead them to confronting Doomfist in Numbani.

The short also seemed to be set post-Overwatch, since they're all wearing their "current day" outfits and not Overwatch uniforms.
