Greetings and welcome to the WoW Classic Beta Test!

Below is a list of known issues for the initial WoW Classic Beta release. Please note that this list is not a complete depiction of what we’re aware of, but a sampling of issues we believe players may encounter with some regularity. We’ll try to keep this updated with trending issues when possible.

Classes and Combat:
  • Activating Raptor Strike while Auto Shot is toggled on does not cause the hunter to begin to Auto Attack in melee
  • Hunter pets do not auto-cast Dash or Dive when engaging their targets
  • Hunter pets may not immediately return to your side upon entering passive mode
  • Many talents are currently missing their requirements text

User Interface:
  • Attempting to sign into twitter through the interface option crashes the client
  • World map path indicators during transport loading screens may be inaccurate
  • Items with randomly generated stats will display the tag in the loot window and chat tooltips when being looted

Creatures and NPCs:
  • Some creatures in the game world are missing textures

Environments:
  • There is a strip of missing water in the Mosshide Fen area of the Wetlands

Dungeons:
  • There is no water present in the Ironclad Cove area of the Deadmines dungeon

    Good thing we have like 120K people on Twitch looking into the game as of yet, 85K from Asmongold alone.

    That's you. That's what you sound like to everyone else. Don't like twitter integration? Don't use it. It's not required.

    It's automatically added to the title by the prefix you have to select when creating a thread.

    If there ends up being a huge volume of threads that make it difficult having them combined, we can split the forums into different regions later. So far we haven't had enough recruitment threads to merit splitting it by region; that's why right now they are combined.

    I don't want a half assed game, either Blizzard gets Twitter integration to work just like in vanilla, or it's a no deal for me.

    There is no water present in the Ironclad Cove area of the Deadmines dungeon
    Not many people know that there is actually water on the ironclad cove ceiling too

    why this level of communication is not available for BfA? Blizzard seems to be so hyped for Vanilla and so communicative, compared to the BfA team.

    Different team.

    I imagine a lot of the people involved have probably at least looked at Old School Runescape. While obviously Runescapes never been as big as WoW, the growth Old School Runescape has seen since it was relaunched is pretty spectacular and a huge part of that is the communication the OSRS dev team has with the community. They are hopefully taking notes and are planning a similar level of communication/interaction.

    Do streamers actually spend time reporting bugs? As it seems mainly streamers were invite to beta. And the purpose of a beta is to find and fix bugs, last I checked.

    Seems to be hugely succcessful though. Never seen asmongold have 100k viewers D: So I guess the publicity beats bug fixing.

    Known Issues: A lot of us are missing beta invites lol. You would think they would at least send it to 10+ year old accounts. But nope....

    and here i thought we actually had a chance between having an old account, needing an active sub, and opt in window of 1 day

    Ha ha, I was just being dumb. I figured its something to do since BFA is making me lose my love for this game. Its really unfortunate. But hey, D3 new season tomorrow. Cant wait.
