Revisiting the original post–as it suggested, we’re going to pull back a small amount on Glimmer of Light healing, but not enough to upset its status as the “in” build. Numbers to be determined for an upcoming PTR build, but probably around a 10-12% reduction to the Glimmer proc only.

As people have noticed, a few changes on PTR, mainly intended to respond to concerns about the level 100 row:


This is still a net buff to Breath in the patch, due to the addition of the 4 Runes. But the damage buff to Frost Strike primarily improves the other two talents. Icecap/Icy Citadel builds should also be a good bit more competitive.

Pretty straightforward–the Deep Wounds buff is largest to boost the value of Mastery somewhat.

    There are no Classic news. Anything and everything about that game was known 15 years ago.

    they work these little changes in as an afterthought not long before the patch comes out, kinda shows their priority overall. I'm glad to see any changes though and hope it helps.

    There's a release date. that's the end until next phases upon release, wont be any data mining or anything for classic since it's already known.

    been playing nothing else but tauren arms warrior since vanilla. been a little upset with bfa but gotta love those buffs. still i do not think i will use rend in this state.

    You don't have ANY alts? 1 char for 15 years is crazy! Kinda applaud you for your dedication but damn, I'd be so bored playing the same character day in and day out.

    @Raelyn I have alts which sit around low levels. I managed to level a shaman to 110 but really I might as well delete it. Nothing entices me more than my Tauren warrior. I fell in love with their voices in warcraft 3, when they shout ; Bring it on! and then slam their tree trunks in to some poor alliance footmen's face. good times.

    What are you talking about? Do some tests on ptr and you'll see frost mage is op with their new essences stuff. The nerf was needed.

    Deep Wounds in itself is a terrible mechanic.

    It was added to reduce the burst of Arms Warriors while Blizzard at the same time gave every other class improved burst >_>

    the best one was the "buff" to rend, who the fuck talent that garbage talent? seriously delete it or make it baseline, is worthless as a talent

    Remove all the new crap they added back in mop or wod I can't remember. Bring back the *OLD* arms warrior design.

    Let's see, all specs of mages and hunters are bottom tier. Unholy DK is also struggling.
